Won't be any steel cases running thru my match barrels. I have $450 in one, and $550 in the other. They get. brass only. Should be good for a woods gun with a cheaper barrel, though.

I wish you luck. That straight magwell and that cartridge shape just wanna give each other problems. The Grendel is the same basic deal.

Speaking of Grendels not liking hi cap magazines

I have all of the above calibers except for 6.8. Gotta agree that the Grendel will reach out lots better. The only caution I have is that it doesn't play as reliably in high cap magazines. If you think you need more than 10 in the gun, that would be the only down side.

I have a lot of gay friends that are Democrats because they believe that Republicans hate them. Then I know others that are Republicans, and some that are libertarians. I know several that are shooters. For the most part, all normal folks. In a lot of cases, you wouldn't know they are gay. When it comes to adding to the shooting community, the more the merrier.

I hauled up a video on that thing. It looks pretty beefy. I had a friend shoot 357's out of a .38 derringer one night, and the hammer punched a hole in his hand.

My problem with 22 is more about ammo reliability than ballistics.

Range is limited, and it moves kinda slow. But it's a big bullet. If you're gonna hunt with it, use the 300 gr Barnes TTSX bullets. They were developed for the .458 SOCOM, and get full expansion with lower velocities than others. They also have a little better ballistic coefficient. At 100 yards and in, it gonna hurt whatever you shoot pretty badly, and you got followup shots.

The difference in power between the two is significant. If you want minimum penetration as specified by the FBI, it ain't gonna happen with a .380. I carry .380 some, though. Just depends on what I'm wearing and where I'm going.

No reason for anybody to get mad. We are all here to discuss stuff. And since some politicians are ALWAYS after our guns, elections really matter. Might as well kick it around.

This site has been heavy on political since I have been a member, except when all political discussion was banished to the hive. I'm one of the blind ones, I suppose. A Republican has a big weighting factor with me because they like guns. But, blind is pretty moderate compared to what I have been called by some liberals. So, I figure I'm still home.

At such an appropriate time, too. I'm gonna piss off some liberals this week. Wrapped in crossed AR-15's, a deep dislike for liberals, and advanced asshole skills. Gonna be fun.
