  1. Yep. If you run outa boolets, you can poke them in the eye with it
  2. I don't think you'll be sorry. The controls are also easier to deal with than any of my other red dots
  3. Simple... stay out of NJ . Always works for me
  4. I put a Wolff kit in my S&W 637. Works great. The trigger is almost scary light in single action mode. I wouldn't be afraid to try one of their kits on any revolver. About the only thing that can go wrong would be light hammer strikes. That's easy to reverse. I would do some reading on the Internet to avoid any pitfalls in the installation. I have zero experience with Taurus revolvers.
  5. I'm late too. This has been posted elsewhere. Punny, the PA M4 optic is good for the money. It comes out of the box ready to mount for a lower 1/3 cowitness on a standard A3 upper. Looks like you have some kinda riser. There's a removable riser built into the M4 mount, but you have to special order short screws. Just FYI if you decide to go that route.
  6. What they're sayin... maybe you don't wanna go out. You may get sidetracked.
  7. I have an M4 on my AR. Biggest difference I can see is the battery type. The M4 uses a AA, and I like that. It also appears the Micro doesn't have any reticle choices. i like the multiple reticles on the M4 as well.
  8. I have met some great pit bulls. The difference is their capability. Dogs bite from time to time. When a pit bites, it can be serious because of the power in their jaws.
  9. It would be interesting to roll up the numbers. My gut feeling is that it would be hard to make it work.
  10. As I understand it, the Ranger T and PDX1 are the same bullet. Just packaged differently
  11. Gonna need a whole lotta lanes too

    Rule #23

I really appreciate the way Starbucks has handled the carry issue. I spend some money with them just because of that, even if it is a little crispy.
  13. Me too, based on rave reviews from a lot of folks. I agree that it's not an Aimpoint. Quality not as good, reticle choices much better. Holds zero and won't break. Comes set up for lower 1/3 cowitness with your iron sights, and uses a AA battery.
  14. I'm thinking it will just be more gridlock. Maybe that's a good thing
  15. Agree. She probably like AR's too
  16. #9 is like granny's biscuits to me, but Elite works a little better. Also more expensive.
  17. Defending is not hunting. I don't know the finer points of the law, but I know what I would do in your shoes.
  18. I have Winchester PDX1.

    Rule #23

Every morning: 8 o'clock Red. Burr grinder. Thermal drip machine. Black Afternoon (not daily): Shots. Either 8 o'clock red, or various darker roasts in a pump espresso machine.
  20. But, "impaired" isn't well defined. It's gray.
  21. I've already said that they should have done what they could, and sort the money out later. With that said... It was a mobile home. I haven't watched one burn in a few years, but they can go up fast. I'm sure the newer ones have some fire retardant stuff in their construction. But, they're still going to burn a lot faster than real studs and drywall. My guess is that the place was gone by the time they got there. It may have been gone within their normal response time. We have news folks involved, and with that comes copious amounts of BS.
  22. Glen Beck said let 'er burn. As you know, Glen's voice comes directly from God. So, what you got against God?
  23. Let me clarify my position. I think most of the gun control today is stupid, and it's the same kinda stupid as pot laws. Throw in Tennessee's liquor laws while we're at it. Then, for the Extra Special Gold Star stupid award... an old fart like me having to show ID when I buy a pack of cigarettes.
  24. Are you kidding? We ALL whine about gun laws constantly. Talking about pot laws in a thread about pot laws doesn't make us activists.
  25. One has nuts, the other doesn't
