  1. Nice rifle! And I can assume the cars to go with all of that paraphernalia are pretty cool too.
  2. I looked everywhere online. Ended up with the Forward Controls a2 style mounts. Switching all of my mounts over to it now.
  3. Exactly why I worded the statement the way I did. If I find one near msrp, it’s probably coming to nolensville.
  4. Been checking everywhere for one. Can’t find one reasonably priced. Franklin gun shop had one last time I was in there. The gun crew has a sweet mr762 but no sp5 at the moment.
  5. Got dang thats pretty. Love functional "art". Those things were always such bricks but they just work.
  6. I'm having a tough time with this one. I kind of like rifling. I'm pretty fond of it. So, wheres the benefit of not just building a pistol? Just to have adjustable length of pull?
  7. Yup. I was wrong. Now I'm really curious.
  8. My 2 cents is that it's the trigger function. Safe and binary only with no semi only. This allows for more than one shot per pull of the trigger but not a machine gun. Its either that or something really useless like only firing on the release, so two functions for one shot. Either way, their whole thing is trigger systems. I'd look there for any innovations. A non rifled barrel would be useless. Alternate ammo has already been explored. I don't think they are reinventing the wheel but just finding loopholes with something they were already close to. Its usually how things progress anyhow.
  9. Just want to thank you Don. These knives are beautiful. Proud to own one.
  10. If you're looking for an upscale, lowlit, more trendy type place, Chauhan ale and masala house is the spot. I'd hit Woodlands if I was craving Vegetarian indian food, but if it were "a night out" I'd be at Chauhan.
  11. Yea I've read varying opinions on the affects of fluting a barrel after rifling but it honestly doesn't concern me too much. I can sleep at night losing 1/2 moa or so for some weight savings. It's not an all out long range precision gun. It's a DD5V1 so it's a .308 with a rather short (16 inch) barrel. Its just too damned heavy for my liking. If Mega would have ever released their Maten sf, it wouldn't be an issue. But I think this will turn out pretty nice anyway by the time it's done.
  12. Well, Nefarious contacted me back. Hoping i can work it out with them as I'd really like to have this gun done by them (him?). Stay tuned.
  13. I've got a barrel that I need lightened. Tried to contact nefarious but haven't gotten a response in over a week. Really frustrating as I really like Marvin's dimpling work. So that leads me to ask you all, who do you recommend? The goal is lightening the gun but I'm not above admitting that I wouldn't mind some cool looking fluting.
  14. Dig it. What are the updates to the gun?
  15. Got it figured out, thanks.
