  1. I looked at tiger direct as they had a similar Asus to what we saw at best buy (but cheaper). Then I noticed the specs were slightly different. I just don't want to end up with sub par components thinking I'm getting a good deal.
  2. Where should we make our purchase? Looking for a desktop and touchscreen monitor. This typing on the phone is getting old.

    Wrong forum, disregard.
  4. I've handled some Para's with the finish and always liked the dark grey look.
  5. Very nice, happy with the finish I assume? I've thought about doing this with some parts.
  6. I have an elite match. I shoot it more than any other. Its a fantastic shooting pistol and 9mm is cheaper than .45. Wouldn't trade it for anything (mostly). Its extremely accurate, fast on target and has great capacity. Trigger is really good, but could be even better with some work. Eaa can get you factory mags cheaper than most aftermarket places if you just call them up. The only thing I may change on mine will be a set of grips. I've been looking at the tanfoglio "extreme series" grips. Everyone that shoots my gun raves about how well it shoots.
  7. I've been looking recently and the best bang for the buck I can find is the Sony ct 660. It sounds way better than the 260 and doesn't cost too much (299 I think at hhgregg). Im gonna pick one up next week.
  8. Pretty bad ass. Don't know I could put all that cash into a mud truck, but I'm glad someone did so we can see those jumps.
  9. Well, guess there's nothing to say here that isn't being said there. Except I want one.
  10. http://www.tacfirecon.com/ http://youtu.be/eQtCTUq4Y_I Any one else see this? As long as the semi auto fire is no worse than any milspec setup, I'm definitely in. From all I've read, its pretty similar to trigger slap in an ak. BC moves forward and pushes the trigger back to reset. Just hold pressure on the trigger and fire off another.
  11. Very tempting, but I think I'm gonna hold out for a nickel boron coated bcg. That's a top notch bcg for a great price.
  12. We want to make a unique car. Complete BS. I don't even know if you could call this a fraud since that would imply someone would actually be fooled by it. More of a hoax. Wonder what the equivalent of April fools day is in Dubai.
  13. Sucks that I missed out on this, it's pretty close to exactly what I wanted for my tgo build.
  14. I was at an indoor range in Atlanta where they had a rental full auto KRISS SBR. The rate of fire on that thing was insane. It looked like a flammethrower. It did seem like it would get very expensive to shoot full mags of .45 every couple seconds. IMO full auto SBR is where this gun really shines, if I could I would have one of those. But, with a full length barrell it seems rather awkward, and when shot in semi auto, I would think there are other guns out there that can do the job just as well.
  15. Depends on what part of Charlotte. Some are OK most can be pretty rough.

  17. Ive been using their stuff in my firearms for about four months now and I'm more than happy. They have some videos out there that seem a bit like an infomercial, but the stuff works. All of the guns are easier to clean now and the actions are very smooth. I'd reccomend anyone to try them. They have a sample pack that you can order off their website.
  18. That's a really nice looking gun. I need to get my hands on a CZ.
  19. Ill take two lowers and possibly one upper.
  20. If I'm not mistaken what they are doing i Formula 1 is using pneumatic valvesprings, not using pneumatically controlled valves. You eliminate the chance of valve float by taking the harmonics of a traditional coil spring out of the equation. This allows for higher vlavetrain speeds. This is why it is used with a super short stroke which allow for lower piston speeds. At a given rpm the piston that has to travel less distance is moving slower. Slower piston speeds allow for a longer dwell time at tdc, and higher combustion pressures etc... All good things for increasing the power potential of the engine. Because horsepower is just a function of torque over time, the faster you can move the engine the more horsepower you will make.
  21. Somebody on Facebook started a page dedicated to stopping a mosque from being put in the Schermerhorn Symphony center here in downtown Nashville. They allege that there is a mosque set to open in the vacant Schermerhorn cafe. I know the Schermerhorn is facing foreclosure, but this seems a bit odd. Maybe just a Hoax Facebook page, I cant find the Tennessean article that is referenced. Anyone else heard of this?   http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=schermerhorn%20cafe%20mosque&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&ved=0CCoQFjAA&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fpages%2FAmerican-Jihad-Watch%2F126718510717993&ei=mj_MUbTdEIvy9gTp0IGACw&usg=AFQjCNGuLNrih5OC5suwrzEGhjxWzllp8w&bvm=bv.48340889,d.eWU
  22.  I saw this video awhile back. This guy has the conviction and resources to develop something like this so it is marketable. Very promising technology.
  23. A good dog and a gun in the house. My pup wouldn't stop that guy, but would alert my wife and slow him down enough for her to have a chance to get the gun.
