  1. The Shield is the best value in firearms on the market today. You can often find them new for $375 OTD. I am going to say that the Shield may be one of the best shooting firearms that I have ever shot.
  2. That Baby Rock does peek my interest, but it is just big enough that it is a OWB/IWB gun. I have always had an interest in the Llama 32 and 380 guns that have been out for decades. I just never could get past the Llama name on the side, but I hear those 1911 versions were not half bad.
  3. I use a small, locally owned service offered by a member here and I couldn't be happier. I could write a book on the horror stories I have witnessed and heard from ADT over the years while working in law enforcement. My grandfather retired from ADT is what really hurts, but it is an entirely different company now. All that matters to them is the dollars; they do not care if you are happy or safe.
  4. I think it is pointless; the Shield is almost a non recoiling gun anyway.
  5. Call down there and let Greg know at Quick Cash that you are working on getting everything straight.

    Tv Shows

I enjoy Longmire, but I am afraid that the 4th season was the last season.
  7. Congratulations, I am on my second Sig 239 now. I should have just kept the first one.

    Baby Rock

No need for Velcro on uniform shirts. Practice ripping off old uniform shirts; it is easier than you will realize.

    Baby Rock

I am willing to bet the Baby Rock will be a great firearm. I have heard that the Llama 380 1911 style handgun, that is about the same size, was a pretty decent firearm too. However, this is a terrible BUG for most people. Most LEOs carry with their BUG accessible from their support hand. This means a thumb activated safety switch on the left side will be difficult unless you are left handed anyway.

    10mm Glock

No, if you aren't going to push the nuclear 10mm loads the early gen 2 barrels will be fine.
  11. The Seals and Delta have about every gun in their arsenal anyway.
  12. I, at the advice of several friends with more knowledge on the subject than I, picked up a CVA since I was looking for a cheap deer rifle. I ended up getting a CVA Compact Hunter since I like a shorter length of pull anyway. I caught it on sale a Cabelas and they had their Big Buck Days going on which got me a gift card with the purchase. Without a doubt the best $160 I ever spent; I only wish they would have had the 7mm-08 in stock instead of the .243. Next week I plan on having a close friend shoot it who is ten times the rifle marksman that I am. I shoot the CVA about as well as I shoot any other rifle. I am anxious to see how someone else is able to shoot it. Since you asked about recoil, it recoils a little more than an AR, but not as much as I would have suspected. My old 30-30 Handi rifle without a doubt recoiled more, and I know my Ruger 44mag Carbine recoils more.
  13. They are a firearm and police supply dealer in Georgia and Texas. Their Georgia store is fifty feet from Tennessee. https://www.gtdist.com/
  14. The store is ok, but I have seen better deals at Smokey Mountain Knife Works next door.
  15. There may be more truth to that than many realize.

    10mm Glock

Yes, the 40 and 20 share the same lower. My wife bought a Glock 20 sf and we sold it to a close friend with the intention of replacing it with a gen 4 20. You really need to check the case support offered by a gen 2 barrel before pushing the rounds too hard. The 10mm is an awesome round. The 20 at least is a very smooth shooting firearm that surpasses the hottest .357 mag loads, but so much easier to control.
  17. Well, 357 Sig is not the easiest to reload. Neck tension can be an issue as well as collapsing the shoulder; you just have to find the perfect setting on you dies. Also, not all .355 projectiles will work.

    M&P 45ACP

I think the 45 M&P is the best of the family and one of the very best 45acp handguns being made.
  19. Generally, there will only be one Blue Label distributor per state. Craig's has all of TN. Everyone else is a sub-dealer. That is why you see the $398.20 verses the $420.xx prices. To my understanding GA is an exception with Ed's Public Safety and GT's in the same state. Even more odd is that GT's can sell outside of the state within the region where others can not.
  20. Yes, GT's can sell to TN. They transfer to the pawn shop up the road and you follow them. It takes all of about ten minutes. The total price OTD is $452. You pay the cheap GA sales tax, $15 for the transfer, and the $10 TICS on top of the $398.20. If you would rather travel to Knoxville Craig's is the Blue Label dealer for all of TN. It has been a long time since I bought a Glock from him, but it only works out to a few dollars cheaper.
  21. The medium refers to the grip circumference.
  22. Are the Buck 110 knives still as great as they once were? I know the 110 is still made in the USA, but that doesn't mean that the quality is still excellent. I am even thinking about buying one through their custom shop with elk stag.
  23. The $425.xx price is the price at sub-distributors. Chances are that you do not have a Law Enforcement distributor in your area; their price is the $398.20.
  24. Oh, I forgot about it having the four back straps.
  25. Well, all gen4 Glocks except the 42 and 43 will come with three magazines. The $398.xx Blue Label price includes standard plastic sights. Inside the clamshell case will be the firearm, 3 magazines, loader, lock, bore brush with rod, paperwork, and test fired cartridge.
