    GLOCK 19

I don't particularly love the finger grooves but the 19 just fits that sweet spot for me. Awesome capacity, Glock reliability, light weight. Just a great carry gun. If I ever run into you at Norris you're welcome to shoot mine.

    Thinner!

this^ though they are really overpriced IMO.
  3. I've been wanting to try appendix carry for while now, I just haven't found the right holster. I think it would be nice to appendix carry when on long trips. It's almost impossible to get to my weapon when it's behind my back up against my seat.
  4. you can do better. Move on. Keep your head up!
  5. tell us more about the chihuahua mac....how was it?
  6. lol good point! But I'm sorry, cockroach is way worse than goatpecker.
  7. I would try bear. Bronker how was the copperhead?
  8. wow, you ate a cockroach for $35.....momma must be proud. Sorry dude but that is beyond nasty. You might as well have flushed a turd out of a porta potty and ate that. and how did possum taste?
  9. it only took 3 pages before a disagreement started.. .lol you guys crack me up. I like the gun, I don't see it being a pocket gun for many. It's just another single stack 9mm that will conceal easily and likely shoot well. I think it's more of a competitor to the PPS than the PF9(at least from a quality perspective)
  10. about like this..If you guys didn't know me.
  11. sure did. And I worked on that the rest of the day. Glad you pointed it out actually because I had no idea my massive biceps were causing me to pull to the left ......... seriously though, thanks for telling me. Main thing I need to do is work on trigger control and SLLLLOOOOWW DOOOOWN. But to the OP, let us know when you shoot the Gen 4. I bet you'll love it.
  12. HAHAHA nice. I think you just made me wake up my parents with my horse laughing..
  13. I must have been on the pistol range when the "great fire" took place. Wish I could have seen it. I miss all the exciting stuff: OS getting shot, giant fire balls... though the crazy dog was interesting. And on the way to Norris I watched OS almost get run off the road by some idiot trying to merge from the shoulder of I-40. I guess that should have been an omen of what was to come.

    Knox Show?

he really does look just like him. And Mike looks like Red but with hair I wish I could go this weekend but I'll be out of town. I'll catch you guys at the next one.
  15. dang it! I must have missed that when I was helping Mac rescue Lassie
  16. Dustin, meant to tell you how much I like shooting the Rock. Good choice, now I have to save some money up!
  17. are you going to open carry? if you are, then I would get the thumbstrap. Otherwise I don't see the point, seems like it would only hinder draw time. But I've never used a holster like that so my opinion may not be worth much.
  18. nice! bet that dude ducked home feeling like poo. I enjoyed seeing all the old classic rifles today. Enjoyed shooting the 1911's as well. Almost makes me want to buy a Rock Island.
  19. holy $%^ it's another DaveTN... just messing. Welcome to TGO!
  20. The gen 3 felt like holding a 2X4 because of my tiny hands. As you probably know, they shrunk the grip diameter and now offer different size backstraps. That was the main reason I didn't like it. The new mag release is a HUGE improvement. I can actually reach it without having to shift my grip.
  21. that makes 2 of us. I bought one today as well. I put 250 flawless rounds though mine today. For some reason I couldn't shoot it worth a crap though. Can't figure out if my sights are off or if I just suck.
  22. today was fun. Even though it was way to crowed I had a good time. A bad day at the range is better than a good day at work.
  23. glock 19 is a great first gun.
  24. actually no. most are backed up to a cell phone.
