It really depends on the officer. Some shoot more than others. A 20 year old police trade in pistol is going to have a few thousand down range I would imagine.

I'm seeing LEO trade in Glocks for $325-$375 on Gunbroker. I still don't know that they are worth it. Once you replace all the springs the savings are not that great.

All jokes aside, demand for .40 handguns has greatly declined. They just are not selling.

Hey I never said I supported it. I would bet that only 10% of gun owners are truly "gun people". Just look at all the idiots at indoor ranges for proof. My guess is that a lot of folks with a 12ga under their bed have no problem with universal background checks...

I think you are correct that this is very popular, even among gun owners. Would you agree that it's popularity would drop if people were educated on the topic? Most people don't really understand what the impact would be. If educated on the issue I suspect support would drop but still hover around 50%.. Of course I have no data to support this.

I think the only true micro pocket gun is the LCP or similar. It's almost impossible for me to pocket carry my LCR .38 without it looking like I had a tumor in my thigh. If you don't care about printing then I suppose you could get by with something a little bigger than an LCP. The only issue is that trying to draw a gun from a pocket can be incredibly slow.

Ammo cans and 90% of those are in their own safe. I found a good quality but inexpensive used Cannon safe at the Safe House.

I think post 9/11 They have started cracking down on that more but I could be wrong. My dad had to legally change is name when he moved to TX a few years ago. It is from the Knoxville Red Light Photo Enforcement Program and has the Knoxville Police logo. It was apparently reviewed by a person with the last name Huff. Badge #516. It says it's a civil penalty fine of $50. It also says I will face additional court costs of $68 if I don't pay in time.

It does not. The only thing it says is that no points will be put on my driving record. I'm not confident we have an answer to this question yet. Chris, thanks for sharing that though.

I thought I'd bump this thread and see what the latest is on this. I got a ticket in the mail Friday. Have we determined if we are legally required to pay these? I found an article from last summer where the TN Attorney General said the traffic camera programs are unlawful because the videos are not being reviewers by POST certified law enforcement officers.

I'm not a fly fisher but I imagine citico creek would be an excellent spot. Right?
