  1. I need some room in the safe, so I have this Izmash Saiga 7.62 X 39 for sell (just kidding @Handsome Rob ) for sale. It comes with 3 factory 10 round mags and 3 aftermarket 25 round mags. The original factory stock and forend come with it along with a side mount for optics. Looking to get $1050, but I'd entertain reasonable offers. I also have some 7.62 X39 I wouldn't be needing anymore: 320 rounds of Yugo M67 brass/lead on 10 rd stripper clips exactly like what you see in this link. If you aren't familiar, it's among the best surplus ammo and it's non-magnetic $130 I'd throw in 64 rounds of Tula 7.62 X 39 and bundle the ammo and gun together for $1350. Buyer must be legally eligible to buy/possess firearms and be willing to show TN DL to prove residency.
  2. I noticed there's a few other motorcyclists here. I'm selling my Garmin 590 LM (lifetime maps) with a Touratech locking mount, the good Garmin cradle w/ remote USB, and RAM mounting hardware are included. I bought this new from GPS City and it's been great, but I don't use it much anymore. The screen has some dust specks in the pics, but it's absolutely scratch free and in great shape. With the RAM security knob and the Touratech locking mount, you can leave it attached w/out fear of somebody snatching it and running. In case you aren't familiar with the Zumo lineup, they are 100% waterproof and dustproof and you can upload tracks from the internet and download where you've been. I paid nearly $900 for the whole setup, but I think $200 is a fair price used. Garmin 590 LM w/ protective case and original USB cable Touratech Locking mount with Garmin 590 LM cradle and RAM ball installed RAM metal short arm with security knob instead of thumb knob
  3. I use the loop ends to make a slip knot around the forks down closer to the axle and do the same on the back around the swing arm. Some guys I know only tie down the front, but as narrow as that carrier is, I wouldn't trust it. The reason I don't use the handlebars is that you're compressing the suspension and relying on the shocks to provide stability. You can lose stiffness in the suspension and dump your bike pretty easy like that. Just my 2¢ worth. NICE BIKE, btw. you're gonna have a blast on that!
  4. Wow, I like that way better than my Otis .223/5/56 cleaning kit.
  5. I had a Taurus TCP once and hated it. I couldn't hit paper past 5 yds with it, so I went back to my trusty Kel-Tec P-32, which I still have and love. My only other experience with a Taurus was when I took a friend to his first IDPA match in Dickson, TN. I don't recall how many rounds he shot in the first string, but I do recall the guide rod on his Taurus went flying down range. He didn't find all the parts, so he finished the round with the backup Taurus that he had brought just in case.
  6. The response I got from my rep (Robert Stevens) about this made it clear where he stands and I think he actually understands the "real" problem:
  7. Yeah, he was definitely too old to be hauling demolition debris up those steps
  8. Sounds like some mighty good shootin' IIRC, this is the range where you have to agree to pay a fine if you shoot the corrugated plastic target hanger they provide. Then they hand it to you and it's already riddled with bullet holes, LOL.
  9. Fixed it for ya, LOL
  10. I agree with @NoBanStan after about 30 mins you could feel the crud in your lungs/throat. Nice folks there, but the range was WAY past its prime.
  11. I'm really glad you posted that. Regardless of what I thought of him at the time, he truly learned his lesson.
  12. Their site is not easy to navigate. I can never find how to sign in or if it's even necessary. I can't for the life of me find that life membership link. Do you know how I can find it?
  13. I have a friend from Ecuador and I always send him atrociously spelled Spanish how it sounds to us, like "Oh la me go" and "boo Wayne ass no cheese". Now I know how he feels. LOL
  14. True, but that's for being convicted of a felony drug charge. I meant nobody from the ATF is gonna come knocking on your door if you fail a piss test. I agree with you about alcohol being worse for your health. I'd like to see a reliable breathalyzer test equivalent before we decriminalize it nationally, but as long as laws against transporting it in your car persist, I'd be in favor.
  15. As much as I think recreational drug use shows poor judgement, I don't care if others do it. However, I do believe all employers should be free to run a drug-free workplace if they choose and some jobs should still be forced to require employees to be drug-free even it becomes legal.
  16. I've never heard of someone who popped dirty for weed get federally prosecute for owning firearms, but I guess it could happen.
  17. I have quite a bit of 7.62x39. How much are you looking for?
  18. Joining FPC vs registering with ATF is a NO BRAINER!!
  19. I'm not a battery expert, so this my not apply to EVs. I just put a lithium battery in my motorcycle. Their brand of chargers come in 1A, 2A, 5A, and 10A. The specs say the trade off for faster (higher amp) charging is a shorter lifespan of the battery. I've always heard the same for flooded batteries (trickle charging extends the life).
  20. Next time theirs something I need to sale on hear, your gonna see. They're will be much gooder grammar then last time.
