If the commercials showed what they really look like, would you want to go buy one? -

This unnecessary act of gun violence would never have happened if McDonald's would put the safety of its customers ahead of corporate profits and post a gunbuster sticker on every door. -
AIUI, you need the 094 for doe. It's a quotaless permit (for the unlimited doe) in addition to being for the WMA. The regular big-game gun permit only gives you 3 antlered deer for the season. Right?

That's their second location. The original one is in the Melrose area (thus the name) at 2535 Franklin Pike. I've been to the one on Charlotte a few times, but not the original one.

Porn Seriously though, I'm usually too busy on Christmas Day to watch anything. I watched It's a Wonderful Life last week. I usually watch the Charlie Brown Christmas every year too.

Don't short them on the tactical knee brace. -
If they did that, nobody anywhere would ever see another Jaguars game.

Seriously you guys? Cutler? Mariota? These are the Titans we're talking about here. We'll obviously draft Jameis Winston after he declares his intent to leave after 3 season with the Seminoles who beat every high-school team on the Atlantic coast, spend 2 years "developing him", get one half-decent season, then get 2 more where it will all be someone else's fault (read "injuries"), then trade him off to be a 3rd string QB in Philly. I think we've read this book before. All along the way the coaches will be picking him up from late night strip club jaunts, bailing him out of DUIs, and trying to smooth over the occasional domestic disturbance. If the Titans have the opportunity to disappoint us, they will.

Shooting from a Vehicle - a Great Video

No worries. Once you exit the driver's side, you tactically enter the truck bed, somersault to the passenger side of the bed, then lean out. You won't get the same protection as you'd get from the rear passenger door, but you'll have a higher vantage point. As we all know, you always want the high ground. -

That would be perfect! Be sure to have a shot of yourselves covered with loads of medals to show how experienced you are. Filling the jackets up so much that you have to overflow to your pants? BONUS! -
US appeals court deems gun law unconstitutional
monkeylizard replied to The Legion's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
It depends on the mental health problem. Not all lend themselves to some sort of violence towards others or towards the ill person. -
Give The Beer Sellar a call. They have a lot of taps.

Jackalope and Fat Bottom are also in Nashville.

This is a good step to removing the stigma around mental health. If a person needs professional help, it will be a difficult call to make anyway. Toss in the fact that they'll potentially lose their rights for life and it means some people never get the short-term help they need. -
A saw a large doe and one about that size in Wilson Co. last weekend. Moving fast and no good shot. Heard lots of shots in the surrounding hills, so someone was getting something.

If it gets worse we'll have to call it Battlefield Earth.

The Taurus can be cocked and on safe. The Beretta can't. To move from FIRE to SAFE on the Beretta you have to pass through DECOCK.

This seems almost too cheap a price for a 1911. No matter who made it.

I was sort of on the fence between theater vs Redbox, but once all the stink started up about this, I decided to flip hacker terrorists the bird and go see it in the theater. I still will if they release it.

I just got in from it too. Meh. The source material for these 3 has been too thin. It's clear that the writers of the non-book scenes are not Tolkien. Instead of having interesting story, they fill it with lengthy ninja-elves/indestructible-dwarves battle scenes with way too much flying through the air. It's like an 8 year old playing with action figures. After making it through the first 2, I'm glad I went to wrap it up, but I'm glad it's done. These 3 are nowhere near as good as the LOTR trilogy.

If it's like most Rogen/Franco movies, running it in primetime on a broadcast network would result in some hefty FCC fines. :)

For those who use the license throughout the year, I don't see what the complaint would be about the cost. I agree that it's reasonable then. My issue is that it's the same price for a person to only hunt deer for 6 weeks as it is for a person who hunts deer for 3 months, turkey for 6 weeks, fishes year round, hunts small game, and bird hunts. A single-day hunting license like the single-day fishing might be a nice idea, with a limit of how many a person can buy before needing the full license. I guess right now maybe that's close to where I am. I did do some prep before the season by scouting the land as best I could with my uncle who has hunted for a long time. That was fun. It was the first time I had ever noticed the rubs on the trees. It was like hiking, but slower and paying more attention. The only non-WMA land I have access to is wooded so there's not much I can do to work the land. It's also an hour each way from my house. My uncle has had some health issue lately that kept him from being out there with me, so I went with a friend who is still new to deer hunting too. He hunted last year with some experienced hunters and got a doe, but that's it. I guess we're just a couple of monkeys trying to hump a football. I got a coyote the first time out, which I guess was nice, but I didn't get an adrenaline rush from it. I didn't get pumped up when some does came somewhat close to the stand either. Not close enough for a shot, but close enough to watch. Maybe it's just not in me to love this sport. Like I said, I'm not giving up yet, but so far it's not a whole lot of fun. At this point, it could be free and I'm not sure I'd want to keep doing it. Maybe I'll try doves next year. I like skeet shooting.
