I believe it counts at Stolen Valor.   One I bet he was there stopping hoping to get discounts because of the uniform. Most shop keepers would not know what to look for.   Second, had the person behind the camera been wrong, I suspect he would have produced Military ID and or called a police officer about the man harassing him.      A few weeks ago, in a store in Gatlingburg a girl gave a guy in front of me a military discount and she thought I might have been.   She ask me if I had a military ID, I just kinda lower my head a little and said I never severed.  She said by the way I held myself she thought I must have been former military.  I paid full price as I expected.

  Sounds like me, I get lost in youtube land and one click leads to another and I keep finding my self on the wrong side of the internet wondering how the hell I got there.    That is when I have to hang it up for the night.

One the fight has started if I am in the car, I am going to use the car until it is spent.  It some armor for a bit and a possible get away.   Don't get me wrong, the gun would ready but not going to abandon a perfectly good car weapon to go at it on first until forced.   Kinda like jumping out of a perfectly good airplane

    Never get out. the car can be a very useful defensive tool as I know ever one here knows.

I did think all had dash cameras until this. A dash camera would have been helpful.   Here in Oak Ridge I have been in the car, lights on, officer out with a subject and I could ever every word he and the subject said as it was being recorded.

auto break ins seem to be a plague in some area.  Here in Oak Ridge we seem to have allot of them.  Even the Chief of police wife was a victim of an auto break in.   Hopefully the guy will try to pawn the stuff and get caught.  Hopefully your insurance will cover it.  Even if car insurance doesn't, seems I have heard sometimes home owner or maybe renter insurance might since it happened where you live.  However I am no expert on insurance.
