  1. prentice cooper or cleveland................the prentice cooper firing range is 7 miles from my house.
  2. damn daddy, he had alot of friends, didnt he? if they'da creamated the sum bitch id be kickin mr bandits ass up around the moon right about now................
  3. Carters has a good range, but the ventilation just plain sucks. it could be that there isnt any at all. there is always Prentice Cooper, and that is FREE.
  4. Glock 27 .40 cal
  5. my gf wants hers, but gas prices and everything else that has gone sky high have just put that on hold.
  6. very good point HunterH. maybe that is what we have to do. getting the proverbial "foot in the door" would be easier than going all out like Virginia and having it open carry in bars/restaurants that serve alcohol. who knows though. as long as the Gestapo rules supreme, we will never have a good chance at this actually passing.
  7. the poll options are wrong. yes or no answer for 2 options? the options should be 1 - DL and 2 - HCP i use the HCP as it is always on top in my wallet and mine is the flip open type. the DL is under the HCP so if i get stopped, they are in the proper order when handed to the LEO.
  8. so what day is it going to be held and where? i work on saturdays so that day is out for me.
  9. i have probably shot 2000 rounds of the walmart WWB and had maybe 2 rounds that didnt fire the first time.
  10. i suggest you call the base as others have stated. im really not clear on how this situation would be handled.
  11. deep concealment and mind your business. can i be anymore blunt?
  12. the Dale Earnhardt incident is long over with. calling it a murder is outlandish and quite honestly, pathetic as well. he was called into a greater service than anyone on this earth can imagine. calling it a murder is just another way of saying you can not understand the facts nor the mechanics of what killed him and how he died. i think your off-topic comments should be deleted by the mods as they have no reason to even be in this thread. go elsewhere to impose your conspiracy theory strategies on others. it is not wanted here.
  13. sunday would be alot better for me too. im itching to shoot my .40 cal glock i just traded for.
  14. it will amaze me if the manager does not get fired for carrying the weapon. i worked for a major fast food chain in the south that had a policy against handguns. but being the assistant manager, i took bank deposits at night and i carried every night. about an hour before closing, i would go to my car and retrieve my handgun then go about my business at closing and no one was any wiser. i looked at it from the standpoint its better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6. there are tons of jobs out there, but only one life. the night i had a drunk beat in a lexan drive thru window made me realize that this petty amount of money was not worth someone else's crack rock hit.
  15. i remember my brother buying a chinese SKS in the early 90's that was a 3 round burst. he paid 150 for it. what id give to have that now.
  16. holiday sobriety checkpoints i would guess.
  17. welcome to the real world. the problem is that everyone want to bitch about how he deals with things, but we cant get together as a majority to vote his ass out of office.
  18. officers like this one are dumbass idiots and i blame the department they work for. the handgun laws change every year for most states, and yearly handgun law should be a course taught in a one or 2 day course at the police departments. they have "weapons training" so why not have gun law training? think of all the headaches it would prevent.
  19. lol more corruption at the sheriffs office. what a freakin surprise.
  20. i have carried before and never been noticed, but that was in the winter with an IWB holster. i went 2 weeks ago wearing shorts and a tshirt and sandals, and when i sat down in the chair, the nurse's assistant took my blood pressure, she bumped it. i had it in my fobus paddle holster and my shirt had come up over it and it was fully exposed. her eyes got really big and i just smiled at her and covered it back up. the doc came in and looked at my hip where the holster was and she never said a word. i had to goto the lab to get blood drawn, and nothing was said. any of you doctors that carry practice in Chattanooga? i was just wondering.
  21. i have the little cousin to the 26..........the evil Glock 33 muh hah hah
  22. that does not surprise me at all. i know it may be singing to a stump, but it never hurts to let someone know they are totally wrong even if they wont print a retraction.
  23. ZOMG where is the head at?!?
  24. http://www.wbir.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=50829 check that crap out. they are telling the public that local agencies/authorities have the power to regulate the wearing of a firearm by a permit holder I.E. open vs concealed. Tennessee has a Handgun Carry Permit therefore as long as your not in an off limits area, you can not be told how to wear your firearm.so, that nonsense flew all over me, and i felt like i needed to inform them of the preemption TN has, and gave them links to the correct information as well. feel free to register an account there and let them know how the legally armed people stand.
  25. i took my class from Kristi Manning at Carters Shooting, but i heard that she and her father who owns the store had a fallout of some sort and shes not doing the classes there anymore. i say call them to see if this rumor is true.
