i will say this about the XDs. the last time i went shooting, i had the distinct pleasure of shooting 3 different types of the XDs. 2 were the .40 cal, one was compensated and the other was not. the third one was in 9mm. all 3 were very excellent handguns and they fit my hand much better than my Glock 33 does. i can say that beyond a shadow of a doubt, my next handgun purchase will be the XD. dont get me wrong, i still love my Glock, but the XD is a far better fit. there is a fix out there for the Glocks, but you have to replace the entire lower frame of the weapon and from what i saw, that is around 450 bucks. screw that, that is almost the price of a new handgun. needless to say, i was very impressed with the sharpness of the XDs i fired. very nice handguns. they get my vote for sure.

i am gonna have to step out on this meeting. i recently had to replace the motor in my car. ammo money is not even in the budget.

i say it should be a federal law that ALL LEOs take a one day course on the handgun laws in the state they are employed. call it a waste of manpower? then do it on the day that all police departments hold firearms training. and this is almost a monthly thing with most departments. i work with a catoosa county GA deputy, and they have firearms class about every 6 weeks. this would be a great time to cover the state gun laws for these police officers so they stop unknowingly harassing honest law abiding citizens over BS.

if you want to see a race, get tickets to Bristol. hands down, that is the best track around. i have been there twice, Atlanta 6 or 7 times and Talladega once. Bristol is hands down the best bang for your buck.

i ran into the same thing. my original was lost in a house fire years ago and im from Ohio. so i emailed my cousin, she went and got a copy, all she had to have was the D.O.B. my name and both my parents names. they issued her a copy on the spot, i sent her the money via paypal and had mine in 5 days.

my sister was dating Jonia's brother Kelley when this tragedy happened. i have never seen a person (Kelley) be so consumed by rage over what and how it happened. it damn near got the best of him. my sister knew Jonia, i did not. ever since this tragedy happened, my sister sleeps with her loaded 9mm under her pillow every night.
