i carry the Glock 33 which is the same size for holsters as is the 26 27 and 36. i use a fobus paddle holster for the most part. it has great retention.

so i take it when you grasp the weapon with your hand, your thumb presses the retention release away from your body? i have never personally seen one in use until now.

i had an ankle holster, and the problem i had with it was the barrel of the pistol dug into my ankle. i think the main problem is that the holster was one of those one size fits all applications, so it had spandex in it and that made the fit kind of tight. i might try another style one day, but for know i use my fobus paddle holster and it works just fine for me. i have semi retiried the uncle mikes, i holster the pistol in there at night so i dont have to wrestle with any retention if i ever have to draw it.

goto your system properties menu, you can access that by pressing the windows key and the pause break key together. click the hardware tab. then click device manager. click the plus tab by the sound, video and game controllers. the sound card name is there. take that name, goto the website for the card and download the correct driver for your operating system. uninstall the driver you have and reboot. when you reboot, the found new hardware wizrd will pop up. click cancel, then install the driver package you downloaded before you rebooted. after it is installed, you might have to restart again. that should take care of the problem provided the hardware has not died. is the problem specific to media player only? try winamp or VLC media player. hope this helps.

one you have carried and shot a .45 acp and a .357 sig, muzzle flip and recoil is nothing with a 9mm or a .40 cal. the .40 feels like a bb gun to me.
