  1. Looks like 7 is also your lucky number, congrats
  2. I'm not sure what thumbing their collective noses at ISIS accomplishes...it is funny especially when you consider their oh so tolerant view of same sex relationships...
  3. Funny the first time, classic on your re - release!
  4. Arent most tracks are north and well west of the Mason - Dixon these days?
  5. What about the Nathan Bedford Forrest forest (state park) in middle Tn?
  6. Propaganda for the troops themselves, If you worked for the Dept of Safety and now you work for the DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY...
  7. So I get my HCP renewal and the envelope is from the the State of TN but also prominently marked (in much bolder and large type) DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY. What gives? I always had a problem with the Patriot Act as it gives a pretty liberal powers to guv'mint...did anyone consider what could happen when these powers transfer to the next president? It's a great idea when "our" guy is in office...
  8. If safe...shoot first, ask questions later
  9. ...for being lights in the darkness, examples of women and men who believe in "do unto others", for tolerance when we disagree, for offering help and assistance to strangers, producers instead of looters, righteous in the face of evil, willing to give a hand up not a hand out, taking personal responsibility and accountability for your actions and expecting others to do the same, for having a moral compass in a country without God where everything is permissible. You all are a great bunch of people, keep up the good fight, I'm glad I found TGO.
  10. Concur, We address this very topic during our safety discussion when we have a Randy class out in the valley.
  11. At the Y M C AAAA...
  12. I like Dolo's suggestion as long as you are certain of no water intrusion.   Spread it with a small notch trowel and "roll it" to ensure adhesive transfer.   The only downside to tradition flooring adhesives is they are organic, meaning if the repeatedly get wet, they will begin to break down into a gooey mess.   An epoxy would be the best choice   Be sure all surfaces are clean and free of oils, dirt, etc.
  13. Who will guard the guards?   An unarmed citizenry at the mercy of a liberal OR conservative guv'mint.   Won't happen here? Why? Because our "elected servants" actually believe in the rights of man or have any type of moral compass that respects the individual?   The 2A is for us to protect ourselves against oppressive guv'mint; the Declaration of Independence charges us with the duty to change guv'mint when it becomes oppressive.   From a self defense perspective, which could be considered the "next level" of the 2A, I would like to see the statistics for those killed by legally owned and obtained guns while attempting to commit a criminal attack against the gun owner.
  14. The motorcycle case is absolutely awesome.
  15. They are simply applying trickle down economics. Reduce the legal flow of guns which will ultimately reduce the number guns filtering down to the criminal element through theft and straw purchasing. I'm not great at math, but this strategy shouldn't take more than a million years... To the above post, who exactly is shooting whom and why?
  16. Is well stocked with 9mm. Prices range from 11.99 - 18.99 per 50, Running a special on PMC 115gr....1000 / 209.00 It seems they're selling down their milsup, that's a little disappointing since they had a larger selection and some interesting stuff.
  17. Don't think for a minute this has anything to do with safety, protection or even an anti-gun agenda. Liability...any kind of lawsuit from driver, passenger or car jacker...Uber gets named in the suit. Which is going to happen regardless of company policy.
  18. Sitting on the can in a public restroom and y'all aren't at low ready?
  19. Well, as a born again gun totin' Catholic, I am pretty sure God doesn't really care about guns (or weapons) in church. I have yet to find in the Bible where is it a sin to defend yourself and/or cause the death of an shooter trying to kill both Christians AND non-Christians OS brings up a good tactical point, in a church's common areas (or a movie theatre) a compact handgun is not the best choice considering the potentially extreme distances. I may add 25 yard combat pistol shooting to my regimen for my worst case "in a church" scenarios...
  20. Last time I checked, BGs don't ask permission or particularly care about firearm laws that are obeyed by law abiding citizens.
  21. We might be related...In my house you better follow the rule "all guns are always loaded"
  22. I've been re-investigating ankle carry with a cheeeeap bulldog ankle holster and MK9. 1. Slow access 2. The weight on the ankle is disconcerting, I believe time can alleviate the feeling. 3. Good reviews on both the ankle glove and Renegade cozy partner. 4. Reviewers (in general) strongly suggest a calf strap if the option is available for the holster you buy. 5. According to the internet, alessi makes the cadillac of ankle holsters. Notice crossbreed is advertising a ankle holster.
  23. This reminds me of the NYPD and the KAHR K9...lighter/different trigger than the duty weapon coupled with limited training. The gun is at fault because your finger was on the trigger. In a mega department with tens of thousands of officers, how in the world can they get adequate training unless it is off duty?
  24. I lurked and creeped too, come on in, the water's fine!
