  1. Haven't heard this before now. Stranger things have happened. Wouldn't be a big surprise though. Bill's been doing this a long time, shows are not going well. Did he mention why he was selling, health, revenue, etc.?
  2. Another personal opinion....you could very well be right. He hasn't given up on his plan, just a set back. As the other poster stated, if they start charging for parking, added to the already outrageous $8 admission, I'm outa there too.
  3. The Wentworth, Need my cash now is at the top of my list as well. Thankful for the mute button.
  4. I have the XDm 40 full size. The compact version wasn't on the market when I bought it. Wish I had waited & got the compact. The full size is a good gun, But a bit large for concealment carry. I'd say go for the 3.8 compact.
  5. Same here. Get to fondle a bunch of stuff in one place, then look for a better price elsewhere.
  6. You're not going to find much reloading stuff at the gun show. One of the best spots around mid Tenn is the Reloaders Bench in Mt. Juliet. Aside from that, Midway & Midsouth Shooters Supply online. I was at the show around midday. Small crowd. Not much going on.
  7. If it sounds too good to be true...........
  8. I use Remington Golden Saber 180 JHP, same as our duty carry. Sheriffs Dept. Is it the best? Can't say for sure. Likely you can find a study to back up whatever you choose. Good place to start would be shot placement. Miss & it doesn't matter much.ty... Glock 22, duty........XDm, personal carry.
  9. Hurry up & wait. LOL You should be used to that by now. Enjoy.
  10. LOL, guess not. Maybe like myself, been too busy cutting grass, honey do's,etc. to do much else. Ready for a break here!!
  11. Thanks for posting this, Slasher. I have the full size XDm 40 as well. Been scratching my head for quite a while on which IWB would be best with this gun. Everybody has their own opinion based on their experience, setup, etc. The XDm isn't a small gun. Of course opinions are like... well, you know. LOL. Since the Crossbreed has worked well for you I may give it a go. Have any idea what their ship time is now?
  12. Remember Randy Weaver & his family on Ruby Ridge? Don't ever think it can't happen to you, if your thoughts & beliefs are different from the powers that be. The word "terrorist" is adjustable to fit the occasion.
  13. I wanted to get into the 25th from the time I was in AIT (11B10), and was fortunate to get assigned to them when I arrived in 'Nam. Good outfit. Probably the 25th & 101st were the two best in 'Nam, IMO. The M203 was an extra load w/ ammo, but you tend to forget that when needed. LOL
  14. Jon, first of all, thank you for your service. It has always ticked me off that Uncle Sam would trust me with a M16/M203 ( Vietnam), but have to have a permit to carry even a .22 handgun. Brilliant! Welcome home brother.
  15. I stand corrected on the original artist. Still like the Jackson/Strait version best myself. JMO
  16. You are correct. Reckless driving is a big upgrade from speeding. He was in NC. No idea what their law reads there.
  17. Same song, not the original artist, I don't believe. Alan & George are the only ones I've ever heard on the radio. Point is, the song pretty much sums up what happened to Country.
  18. +1 on the View as well. Whoopi is the ugliest woman on the planet, Lib. as H**L. She's not going away totally, tho. Ego way to big for that.
  19. Wholeheartily agree. I'm still old school. Used to be Country & Western, then the Western faded away, now Country is following suit. That old song by George Strait & Allan Jackson, "Murder On Music Row" pretty much nailed it. The Lebanon radio station still plays a lot of the oldies. I listen mostly to that. 98.9 FM if you can pick it up.
  20. Tell her to move South to TN. I take my job serious.
  21. Well, you know first hand. Criminal clients are far down the risk scale usually. Some exceptions of course. We try to nip issues in the bud, before it gets out of hand. I've also escorted several parties to their vehicle while the other party was held in the courtroom until they had safely left. Worked so far for 3 yrs. I've even on rare occasion had to escort an attorney to their vehicle. Imagine that! LOL
  22. Well, you're right about that. She'll use every venue known to mankind. Word is her network isn't doing so well. As you say, the media ( Liberal) will squeeze all they can get out of it. Thank God & Greyhound!
