David - Sorry to hear about your bout. I, too, never get sick but can't figure out how since I travel ALOT on airplanes and it seems there is always someone nearby coughing. I have taken a flu shot for the past several years knowing it is a crap shoot (sorry) as to whether how effective it will be. Im also looking at taking the shingles vaccine since my insurance now does not require a doctor's prescription or for me to be 60.

Man, you and your wife are fortunate. Glad you're both relatively unharmed. I try to use Siri on my iPhone or either pull over or wait. Read last week that adults text while driving more than teenagers. Prayers for the deceased lady.

Lots of good advice.... I would only add that the most important thing is to save and invest as much as you can, starting while you are young. Consider taxes but, most importantly, be consistent in your saving. The younger you are the more risk you can handle as over time you can make up any losses.   I don't always agree with Dave Ramsey but his system is proven. Stay out of debt as much as possible and save/invest as much as possible. Believe me, it WILL pay off in the future. As he says, "live like no one else (now) so you can live (later) like no one else."

  I hadn't seen that since I am well beyond my original contract and now on month to month.  I would venture that there are shorter plans, however. Agree, that is far too long to commit to for a contract. That notwithstanding, the system and service are very good.

Congrats Knoxrocks... (And to all the other new dads). I echo all the other sentiments, too. My "baby" girl will be 32 this year. The time flies by, yours will be In grade school next week and out of college and married in the month after that. At least it seems that fast.
