David - I just re-upped using Amex.... Worked perfectly. Thanks for repairing whatever was gumming it up. Cheers

Thanks for the quick reply... Maybe not the same problem but the same result to me - no way to pay you. I'd appreciate advice on a resolution at your convenience.

I have experienced the same problem. Once I click on, "Click here to view or renew your existing purchase" it says money will be taken from my Paypal account and references an "e-check". I have neither. Thanks for any help.

See link below about Washington Times columnist Emily Miller's call for photos for her upcoming book. I recommend you read her long running chronicle on her battle with the D.C. government to get a gun permit. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/jun/21/gun-owners-america-unite-emily-miller-seeking-phot/

Another big fan here. Thought he had beaten the cancer and it was in remission. RIP.

Dog was never known for his intelligence. Seems he simply added another reason why.

The oil in Fritos will also burn and they can be used as tinder. I have always liked the Swedish Candle. Link here: http://www.bushcraftstuff.com/tutorials/the-swedish-candle/

Awesome! Thanks for sharing.

Anything by Huey Lewis and the News. Horrible name, worse music.

Like fingernails on a chalkboard. I hate "country rap" - an oxymoron of sorts. Just can't handle the blend.

Here's one you may want to add: I'm unique. Just like everyone else.

Thanks. I thought the older Boy Scouts mentored the younger kids and helped them but wasn't inferring they went out without adult supervision. I was kicked out of Cub Scouts in 1960 for being a hell raiser. (The last straw was running through the pack mother's new screen door.) Haven't had any contact with them since but I didn't hold any grudges. LOL. Now if I had known about Venturing I might have taken a different approach.

Obama maybe the most successful President EVER

Premature to say immigration reform..... Won't pass the House. -
To me the question is not gay vs. straight. It is the right of a non state supported organization to admit who it pleases. I believe the BSA has caved to PC. Why should the NAACP, KKK, BSA, atheists, left handed plumbers or any other organization be forced (either by court decree or public pressure) to admit those it does not like? And why would someone who does not share those organizations' beliefs want to be there other than to poke a stick in their eye? And why are these organizations sometimes forced to accept people who disagree/hate/dispute them? Unfortunately, I don't have the answers. But it really makes me wonder. I think the BSA decision affects only scouts, not scout leaders. That said, does any parent really want their seven year old at a BSA camp with a 16 year old gay scout? I, for one, wouldn't take the chance. Just my feeling on the issue. (But I'm unique.... Just like everyone else.)

NRA: Obama Admin to Sign UN Arms Trade Treaty
Spook replied to JohnC's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Agree. That's where the judiciary (theoretically) comes in as a check on the legislative. Supreme Court judge changes on this court could have an immense impact on our future should any sitting judges retire or die during the remainder of Obama's second term. I fear we are in a precarious position on both fronts. -

It needs 66 votes. Don't think even this senate has enough support. Another reason though why the 2014 elections are so important. -
"The authorities were alerted," This is where the issue got hosed up, imo. Assuming it was a 911 call the dispatcher taking the call, 1) could have asked more about the guy OC'ing to determine just why he was "suspicious" and, 2) explained to the caller that it was legal to carry in Ohio. Seems a minute or two here could have tamped it down. Otherwise just sounds like a nervous store clerk. As to the issue of how the LEOs responded.... well I think that's been wrung out here.

Morgan County Correctional Complex, Stopped from taking pictures, deleted.
Spook replied to soapy's topic in General Chat
Let's see.... The law says you can carry a camera and take photos..... But someone calls in and says there's a man with a camera... You get stopped and don't want to delete them.... Are you sure this wasn't in Ohio? Oh, wait.... -
Very nice. You can always rent it out to someone if things get real bad. LOL Bet the best part was just workin' with your dad.

I lived in Venezuela for a couple of years once. Crime was just starting to get bad. The one thing you really had to be on the watch for was motorcycles. They would drive between lanes of cars stopped in traffic and rob the driver, especially if they saw a nice wristwatch. Usually, there was a second bike on the passenger side, justs a little bit back, that would shoot the driver if he started to grab his gun - everyone has guns in Caracas. If the perp on the video here had used that tactic the "victim" would have been shot and killed. I have heard the crime rate there now is outta sight.
