S&W Shield owners : Question on the ejector

Recommended Posts

I have owned a bunch of handguns but the Shield is the first handgun I ever owned that had an ejector that wiggled. All my previous guns had ejectors that were fixed and did not move. I called S&W and they said it was made that way and other owners say that theirs wiggle too. My Shield runs great and is awesome  , I have just never seen an ejector like this. Have you Shield owners noticed this on your ? Mine is a 9mm.

Yep, mines a "wiggler" too. :)

But Darn! What an excellent size for function little 9mm! I find mine incredibly reliable and imminently shootable. I have better than 5000 handloads through it thus far and have never had a problem with it. And it loves 147 gr HST's.

Same here.  Mine wiggles.  But the .45 Shield does not.  Both are magnificent handguns.

Ditto on the wiggling ejector and the love for the Shield platform.

I have 4 now. (don't ask) 3 9s and a 45. No problems with any of them.

You say they’re shields, but are you sure you didn't buy rabbits by mistake?

Sometimes I think that's so.
