Weapons Light Question

Recommended Posts

I have plenty of good flashlights.  I don’t want a weapons light for EDC, but had the idea of slapping one on my 365 XL Spectre. macro when I go to bed at night.  The weapons lights I have on other guns are not quick and easy to put on/take off.  Is there one that will slide on and off without tools that I could put on at night and slip off in the morning?  One of my bedside guns is a S&W Performance Center Shield that came from the factory with a Crimson Trace flashlight/green laser already installed.  It’s nice, but loaded with 8 +1 rounds, it’s as heavy as my Spectre loaded with 17+1!  This isn’t a big deal, nothing wrong with having more than one bedside gun, I actually have a Governor there  as well, LOL.

Surefire X300U-a has a push button clamping mount. The b is a thumb screw, but the a sounds like what you’re after. Takes about a second to install or remove and is actually a duty grade light.
