P80 Glock 21 45 ACP/SUPER REDUCED

Recommended Posts

$700

P80 frame, Alpha Wolf stainless slide, Glock brand upper and lower parts kits. Slide is direct mill for a Vortex dot and has suppressor height tritium front sight. Gun will come with both threaded and standard barrels, both Alpha Wolf. Comes with factory weight (17 lb) captured recoil spring/guide rod and a 24 lb captured spring on a stainless steel heavy guide rod.

With either barrel (full chamber support) and the 24 lb spring/stainless guide rod this gun can safely run full power .45 SUPER loads. Or it can run soft .45 ACP loads with the factory weight spring. I also find that it runs better suppressed with the 24 lb spring, but that may be dependent on your suppressor and load.

  • Thursty changed the title to P80 Glock 21 45 ACP/SUPER REDUCED

Hey folks, just wanted to provide some insight, be cause I’ve had a few questions about it.

This is not a serialized lower, but my understanding, after quite a bit of research is that an 80% lower cannot be completed and sold solely for the purpose of making a profit. However you can build one for yourself and decide at a later date you want to sell it. I’ve owned this for almost 2 years and have records to show that. It’s a great gun, soft shooting, very accurate, and super reliable, however, I am transitioning most of my shooting to the 1911/2011 platform and moving away from Glocks and their clones.

That being said, I am not an attorney.

I don't know why, but I love the way this gun looks!  Can you shoot 10mm on these frames or are they 45 only?

If you get a 45-10mm barrel it'll shoot 10mm, is my understanding.

The frame supports 10mm but you would not have reliability with the .45 slide as the extractor and the breech face are a little different.

You can shoot 10 mm if you get a conversation barrel, has to be a conversation barrel though, you can’t just chuck a10 mm barrel in, then you will get reliability issues from it like @Ballen mentioned.

Thanks guys, I was more just asking can those P80 frames handle 10mm.  I'm aware of 10mm/45 slide differences and the need for conversion barrels.

Oh, yes indeed. I've had my g20 upper on it. And my .45 SUPER loads are 230 grain pills at around 1200 FPS, that's comparable to Underwood's 220 Hard Cast load for the 10mm.
