I got an email from Aero today regarding my inquiry from Feb 10 about my Jan 3 order (seriously).  It said uppers are out of stock, but they could possibly ship my receiver set at the end of June.

Sounds like they took more orders than they could handle at the time.

Definitely, which is out of their control.  On the other hand, taking your money for stuff they claim is in stock and ready to ship and then not even acknowledging that you exist for six months is their choice and should be a crime.

If anyone still has stuff on order from Aero, I hope you already got it, or you might want to think about initiating a chargeback. Word on the street is that they just laid off a bunch of staff.

Oh boy. No 2A fear, our friend with it’s own set of downsides.

If Aero is hurting for business, it has nothing to do with a lack of panic buying.

Their recent issues to meet service levels and supply are covered in this thread.

The current industry glut of AR’s is evident across manufactures and prices. The typical cycle we see with favorable administrations.

With recent acquisition expenses leading up to today, demand dropping off a cliff is undoubtedly a factor in layoffs, without demand / revenue to support current spend.

Too bad one of those recent acquisitions wasn't a cash printing press  😄

Deerslayer, sorry to hear how they treated you (and a bunch of other customers, evidently).  It sounds like their company is playing fast and loose, to say the least.

They'd better hope no ham and egg lawyer catches wind of it and gets a class certified in federal court.  But even if no one starts a class action, the consumer protection risk alone for a company like that is serious.  Yikes.

For so much AR glut, they sure are out of stock on a bunch of stuff.  At least they admit it now.

Funny how stopping production means inventory doesn’t increase.

In this case, fair to say demand is catching up to their inventory 😄

Not a great model and they are no barometer for the industry.  Whatever their deal is, doesn’t sound like it’s getting better. It’s sad to see them go out like that while hosing customers.
