Ayyyyy, anybody smoking or grilling this weekend?

Sounds mighty fine. We just grilled some smoked sausage and some dogs and some vegetables for lunch.

I really enjoy smoking and eating anything and everything. My wife hates the smoky flavor, and my son refuses to eat anything that isn't a dinosaur shaped chicken nugget. So I just don't get to smoke things often. I'll do a pork butt and eat pulled pork butt myself for a week straight every now and then. Some of my favorite less traditional things to smoke: 

- trout 

- cream cheese (with either hot honey and everything bagel seasoning, or mustard and dry rub) 

- Bologna 

- burgers

We had a split breast of lamb on the grill tonight, garlic, dry rub, fresh rosemary and fresh basil. Added olives, cheese, a Greek salad to the dinner and red red wine. Excellent meal.

Some Ribeyes on Friday, some BBQ/smoked leg quarters on Sat, tonight will be beef sausages, hot dogs for the kiddos and some zucchini. Them babybacks will show their face next weekend on the 4th.

25 lbs of pork shoulder and baked beans for a last troop dinner at scout camp on Friday evening.  Another couple of shoulders today for a baby shower.

Deer sausage, chicken, zucchini, and squash on the blackstone Friday, if that counts. 

I'd really like to fire up my WSM, just haven't had the time. Last thing I did was turkey and other stuff for Thanksgiving.
