Got Contact info on Swanky's so I can tell them I will spend my $ elsewhere?

I wonder why business owners do not believe the sign is a "Go ahead and rob me at gun point" sign to criminals...

Oop, the sign says "no guns," guess I can't bring my Saturday Night Special in and rob the place, says the criminal...

Seriously, let them know you go next door. Every time. Tell them what you spent, and tell them how many friends you have that also will not spend $ there...

+1 on Oscars, but it is now known as "Taco Express." He's opening another across from Centennial High for you east side types. I did not know PF Changs is posted. In the last week, my office mates and I have spent a couple hundred bucks at Cajun Steamer. They know my policy, so we won't be going to Swanky's.

hmm never had Oscars. Youve had Swankys before?

yep, Swanky's is good stuff... (never had their fish tacos though ;)...just know they'd have to be unbelievable to beat Oscar's).

if you've never been to Oscar's, you owe it to yourself to go. best tacos I've found since I left TX...

+ Oscar is a great guy. give it a try, you won't be sorry...

hmmmm... I could've sworn it was originally Taco Express, and changed the name to Oscar's???

but it's been a couple weeks since I was there....maybe he changed the name back?

I was surprised. My wife called in a to-go order a couple weeks ago, and I walk in the side entrance, and they have a legally posted iron sign bolted to the side of the door, same thing up front. They really went to some expense to have the custom signs made.

Is Changs on west end posted? If so, I know a few folks that work there and will tell them how  their posting is....

I stand corrected. It's Oscar's. I had my name change reversed. I have nothing to add on the fish taco debate, but if there is better salsa in Williamson County I'd like to know where. Swanky's, PF Chang's and that filthy Waffle House on 96-W are off my list because they have posted.

Oscars is the place, worth the drive. I think he called it Taco Express when

it was a couple blocks down the street.

That was the Burrito Express. He called it Taco Express when he opened it in its present location, then changed it to Oscar's. My family loves it, I've been going there since he opened.

I'm not sure. I haven't been to that location in years. Ever since they built the one out here, I rairly make it down that way. May need to one day when I don't have anything to do and check.

We need a law passed that says if a business owner posts not allowing lawful HCP holders to carry, then they are held liable in the event of a patron is assaulted, harmed or killed on their premises (including the parking lot).

If they do not post then the owner is then not liable for the actions of the lawful HCP holder in the event they use their weapon in an act of self defense.

Basically, you remove a patron's ability to defend themselves, then they assume the legal responsibility to provide a completely safe environment. If they can't... then they don't need to deny a patron the means to defend themselves.

So I think the manager needs to escort me and my wife to our car.

(It would be hilarious if a bunch of people started asking the manager after a meal to have staff escort us out to our car. LOL!!!)
