December 2009 Guns & Gear Expo Radio Commercials

We have embarked on a radio advertising campaign with the Steve Gill show and just received copies of our commercials. They start airing tomorrow morning on 1510AM WLAC and Steve will be plugging the show along the way and then come out on Saturday, December 12th to do a meet & greet with folks at the Expo.

He will not be broadcasting live from the Expo.

Anyway, take a listen to the radio spots and tell us what you think.

  1. Radio Spot #1
  2. Radio Spot #2
  3. Radio Spot #3

Anyone who wants to help spread the word about the show to their friends can refer them to the website at www.GunsAndGearExpo.com or you can even print out one of our flyers and give it to them.

We have limited vendor booth space remaining, so we're still taking applications for that as well.

Several of us got together a few weekends ago to run through the AIS PriSim simulator and you guys are going to love it. It's easily one of the most realistic forms of "use of force" simulation that I've ever experienced. The thing actually shoots back at you using 68 caliber kevlar reinforced polymer balls. It definitely teaches you to get the hell off the kill zone and to use cover effectively.

Joe/David, how long does a simulation take? How many folks do you think you can accomodate in the simulation in a day? Do you have to draw a ticket to get a change to get in the line? I'd like to try this but not at the expense of being in a line and not getting around to see and talk to all the vendors.

I plan on coming!!

You are looking at 8-12 minutes per shooter so I am sure you will be able to get in and out with plenty of time to see the rest of the Expo.

Cost for admission or cost for the system itself? One is affordable... the other is virtually unobtainable.

:hyper: especially on my salary!!......i was talking about the price to go thru the simulator. Is there an additional cost beyond the cost of admission?

Joe will have to give the specifics but yes, there will be a cost to go through the simulator. The pricing he mentioned to me a few weeks ago was extremely reasonable.

And if you do want something else to do after the event( there are a few other attractions in the area). Jack Daniels distillery in Lynchburg, George Dickel distillery in Normandy( just outside of Tullahoma). Plenty of local shopping if you bring the wives or want to get caught up on your christmas shopping.

There are plenty of nice restaurants within 20-30 miles of Winchester. Fast-food, sit down restaurants and some nice locally owned establishments.
