Sig knows I am alive

I was on the phone with one of my customers. During our chat I asked him how he had found my site. He told me he had called Sig Sauer and wanted to order their wood grips for the P238 and they told him they did not sell them at this time.

They then told him to have a look at sigpower.com for the aluminum grips as an alternative.

I called Sig a few days latter and asked for the wood grips and the CS rep on the phone also told me about sigpower.com I told the man thanks and that I would check the site out.

I know he was just a rep and not the company.

Now for the rest of the story:

For those who don’t know sigpower.com is my site.

I just thought it was cool to have a big name company notice my small site and the parts I make.

After buying the 522 22LR Sig Rifle I noticed they use the same design to hold the slide back with the follower that I have been making for over a year and a half. Makes me feel rather good and a bit proud.

Just shows the power of the Internet.
