I think that's it they were on the History channel sniper show the other day

Awesome, I havent caught that show yet.

I know they've got some pretty awesome shoot houses built out of shipping containers out there. Check 'em out:

With all the un-develop land in TN, what do you mean there is no place too shoot ???? I ran around like a NINJA, hiding from the LEO's shooting my 50 BMG in the city, (I always make sure I use a BERM as a back-stop) Where I was shooting, one idiot shot his friend by accident, & now the place has steel gates & a big BILLBOARD sign saying "NO TRESPASSING", NO SHOOTING, NO HUNTING, NO ATV, NO HORSE-BACK RIDING !!!

Dont listen to this guy. This sneaking around with a .50 and shooting on land that isnt yours will get you put in jail and on the news. We already have one idiot giving gun owners a bad name on the local news. We dont need another. :wall:

I wish someone would start-up a 1,000 yard range in middle TN.

There is a 1000 meter range on Tullahoma training site (on AEDC) ran by the National Guard but I dont know if they open it up for private citizens. There is also one on Catoosa Training site, which is actually in Georgia, but is ran by the TN National Guard. Dont ask me why.

+1 While there's plenty of land here in Tennessee, you can't just run up on any "open areas" you find, especially shooting a .50 BMG, there could be something way down range you don't see.

My recommendation would be to ask around here and else where for folks who have land that would allow you to come out one day and shoot. And when you find someone who has some, let me know, cuz I wanna come!:stare:

Something about you bugs me when I read your posts..........maybe it's because you've made a few retarded statments about you doing something stupid stuff like this before???

Trying to touch nerves or get decent folks in trouble?? :stare:

AEDC is not cleared for 50BMG.

I have fired a 82A1 at Terry Waldens range in Manchester. It's only 300 meters though.

Yeah Ronnie Barrett actually goes to Terry's place to shoot quite often. From what I understand they are good friends. But yeah, I love Terry's place, I went there this morning actually.

Yeah, the guy that had the one I fired said he worked for Barrett and the guns he had with him were company guns, he had a few other Barret rifles with him.
