I shot about 200 rounds through the Mosin. Here is my best target.

10 rounds at 200 yards. The 10th one was just off the paper at the top The red square is 11" x 11". I think I would do better if I could see worth a dam at 200 yards.

Anyway it was a lot of fun and nice to meet Erik88

Sorry we missed you, it was hot out there today but not very crowded.

Same here. There was a couple of guys at the pistol range when we got there but they left after we were there for about half hour.

You must have got there as we were getting ready to leave. I said something to you about the keg. That's a good idea. I am going to have to find one. May be about to get one at UT after the football game. :biglol:

So that was a keg you guys were shooting at? My friend has 2 kegs that have been sitting in his car port for about a year. Still have beer in them. I'll see if he'll let me hijack on and take it up to Norris.

Yea, I got two from my neighbor when he moved to Florida last summer. Been takin up space for over a year now and I decided it was time to take decisive action and use them for cannon fodder.

Its a great 100 yd target and almost impossible to miss. the real challenge is laying it on its side when they have been sufficiently shot to hell ; then have a contest to see who can shoot the Ball Valve out. Has to be a dead center shot. Two mondays ago Oh shoot and M.357 were there and Mike got the Kill shot with His Nagant from 100 yds if I recall correctly. Helps to have a spotting scope to verify. Id like to blast one that was pressurized.

My Uncles have shot everything from Scuba tanks to propane cylinders up there.:P:D
