I saw that last night, I was really in shock over that the police officers would treat a person that is disabled like that. The police officers are supposed to protect and serve, right? That was not meeting up to their slogan on this incident.

I'm starting to lose all faith in authority. First it was the NOPD unlawfully taking personal guns during Katrina, then the Coal Creek Armory VP getting hassled in Wal-Mart, then our wonderful Hamilton Co. Sheriff Long and now this. I know these handful of incidents only scratch the surface. Protect and serve...more like abuse your power and act like a jacka$$!

Hopefully the guy has already contacted a lawyer.

now that this video is out...he wont need to contact them, the dream team has already formed and ready to take the case pro-bono...lol, hell they are calling his whole family

that dept is SCREWED....unfortunaltley the whole dept will pay because of one cop being a total bitch and an idiot.

the other sick thing, all of those people came around and nobody stood up to her...she must be brutal.

hopefully she will be joining the people she is treating that way...the prisoners she has booked will want to thank her...LOL

Well first off that sure looks like assault to me. Fired yes. Arrested yes yes. Lawsuit, well the county cops are gonna go broke over this one. disgusting just does not seem to be the word, but it will work for now.

I disagree. I think she should have criminal charges brought against her for assault or illegal use of unnecessary force...but thats just me.

Fired and charges, sounds even better.

I agree, In the City Paper to day Sheriff Ricky Headley, Williamson Co, resigned his post yesterday to keep him out of jail on drug charges. :(

I think law enforcement has went to hell in a handbasket.

He resigned and they dropped the felony charges to misdemeanors as I understand it.

Gee, is that a sweet deal for a scumbag or what. Oh and he can re-run for office after 5 year waiting period. He should be standing trail.

I must have missed it, but what was the reasoning for dumping the guy out of the wheelchair? Did they doubt his disability or was it some other reason.

Please do not respond with cop/hate speculation. As misguided as it was something brought it on.
