Cheap dress-up trim for Glock

Recommended Posts

I started dressing up a couple of my glocks a few years ago with a white crayon. I can't really remember where I got the idea. It would work on any black gun I guess but the white on the black tennifer looks good I think. Some of you may have heard of this before. Just thought I'd share. Just take a white crayon and rub over the lettering in the slide making sure to fill it in. Then, just whipe the slide down real good with a cloth. And to my surprise, the white doesn't really get dirty as you'd think. I redo my carry gun every 3-4 months and my night stand gun shown here has only been done 2 times in 2 years.

I used automotive touch up paint on my carry gun, seems to be holding up pretty good for now. Fill it in, let dry for about 10-15 minutes then wipe lightly with a cloth dampened with just a little bit of nailpolish remover. Heres a link to the thread i posted after i did it. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/43228-tactical-arts-and-crafts/page__hl__%2Btactical+%2Barts+%2Band+%2Bcrafts__fromsearch__1
