Are you kidding me? He's already proven everything he needs to prove to me while he was governor...

Obama has proved to be a fine enough prez to deserve another four years, yes? You'll help him get that, yes?

That's your only meaningful decision in Nov.

The sheeple were mesmerized by the Hope and Change mantra just like Hitler mesmerized the German people.

Well, since you opened the door for the comparison...

Stalin might have been 'better' than Hitler but I don't think I could have brought myself to 'get behind' ol' Joe, either. Just because candidate A doesn't suck as bad as candidate B that doesn't mean candidate A doesn't suck plenty in his own right.

Some people like mayonnaise on sandwiches. Some like mustard on sandwiches. People could argue the virtues of mayonnaise or extoll the virtues of mustard all day long but when the choice of the main filling of the sandwich is a dog turd or a cow patty, at the end of the day - regardless of mayo or mustard - you are still being compelled to eat a sh*t sandwich. Maybe it is the only choice we have (which really isn't much of a 'choice' when it comes right down to it) but don't tell me I have to eat a sh*t sandwich and expect me to pretend it is a porterhouse steak.

Keep in mind, generally it is not a good idea to have a President that is loved by everyone in his time. Remember when there was talk of getting rid of the 2 term law for Clinton or how long the "bad" Kennedy's were able to hold sway? I can only imagine if the others had lived! A little skepticism and distrust of government leaders is not a terrible thing. The irony is that Reagan was not loved in his time. He was billed as a terrible orator and the man who was bringing the end of the world. It is only after the fact that his legacy stands.

So you make the assumption that I am a liberal, or that I like Obama based on my comment above? Wow, just because I don't like the republican candidate because of what he truly is, a liberal, you make assume things that just aren't so? Couldn't be farther from the truth. I am a conservative in every aspect of the term, Romney IS NOT a conservative.

Different job. Different time. Different customers. Different rules.

Negative, same job over a lager group of people only with more power and control.

The only way to dethrone Hussein is to elect Mitt.

- OS

Finally, an answer with common sense. The only goal is to remove the commie. If anyone doesn't believe that, then I suspect that you are a lifelong democrat who has always defended the democrat party with answers like " My great, great, great grand pappy was a democrat and what was good for him is good enough for me, and so I'm gonna vote democrat no matter what ". Common sense in our country is some how not so common anymore.

Unite behind Mitt to dethrone the commie Hussein.

I firmly believe that my chances will greatly improve of getting to eat a porterhouse steak under Romney. Have not had a good steak lately, as I'm definitely not better off than i was four years ago. And without a doubt I know and feel that my freedoms and liberties are being sh** on everyday by Obama and his Marxist cronies. If we don't unite behind Romney to dethrone the commie, I will say that you may be eating Sh** before long.

This is exactly my point. Why should the American people have to settle for subpar politicians when we are the ones that pay their salaries. The people of this country vote for those with glam and status rather than voting for the candidate that is right for the job. I'm not entirely sure that it's all their fault either. We live in a society that is fed whatever the media wants to feed us instead of the truth. I get so sick of people saying that a politician is any better than any other politician just because he/she belongs to the party of their choice. There have been terrible republican politicians just the same as there are terrible democratic politicians. The terrible liberals are just in found in more abundance.

i honestly hope the day comes when people get away from using that "lesser of two evils" phrase, but it may

only happen when we, as a society, decide to return to a "just" way of life and reclaim our liberty, by becoming

engaged in the process again, instead of just cliche'ing it to death. We have allowed it to happen by our own

complacency. Cut Romney some slack, please, until he has a chance to prove himself out.

I feel like I've cut him some slack, I'm halfway there. I'll be all the way onboard once he gets elected President and does prove himself.

He fought a nasty campaign to get to this point, something I despise, I certainly hope he does the same with BHO and not back off. BHO's background, his scandals and all of his lies needs to be exposed on the national stage and at the same time he needs to be selling himself to the fence sitters.

Sounds easy enough. Add his VP choice and we might take back some freedom.

Kick the King out and let Mitt give it a try.

You're the only one who has made an assumption. If you don't like the system which allows us choices to make,

find utopia if you can. Obama has promised utopia, which can never be delivered. You can dislike the loyal

opposition all you want, but until you engage in the process and convince enough voters to get a better conservative

to vote for, you are wasting your time. That's the best we have, at the moment, and it will have to do, unless the

fine people wish to sit home and bitch about it, instead of voting. There is too much at stake to sit this one out.

More cake, please!

You aren't going to see a more conservative candidate than Mitt with a chance to win the presidency from here on. The fix is in, with almost 50% of households getting something from the gummit and only 50% paying into it.

At least till things really crash and burn, Mitt's as right as we'll have a chance to actually elect. Prob is, when that happens we may not really have elections anymore either.

Mitt is going to have a tough time of it.

If its indicative of the way some here think, he sure will have a tough time. But if everyone can just realize that Obama really wants to transform America into a socialist/communist country, and they decide to reject this transformation, just maybe the people will give Romney a chance to turn around this country. Romney is not another clone of Obama, and if anyone believes that then their is no hope of convincing you otherwise. Just take a look everyday at some of the nonsensical decisions and policies by Obama that are trampling the constitution, and your liberties and freedoms. It is very evident that Obama is a Marxist ideologue that hates the values America has always stood for.

Their are clear and distinct differences between Obama and Romney, and if you have had your head in the sand the last three and half years you may not have noticed the distinctions. But if you were aware, there should be no doubt as to getting united behind Romney, and send Obama a message that America is not ready, nor will it ever be ready for a dictator.

Right on. We are stuck at the 50/50 point until the big crash and burn. That's the only event that will bring us back to true conservatism is after things get so bad and it rises up from the ashes out of necessity. That's if anyone is left after the big crash and burn. If there were any more unexplored, unsettled territory on the earth, some could go and make it the greatest nation on the earth. But...that's been done and this is the last stand...for freedom, Americans and humanity.
