Why the GOP won’t challenge vote fraud

The three you mention are acceptable.  Since we're back at everyone gets a say in how the country is run how do we get people to actively participate and actually show an interest in government and the decisions they make on our behalf?

As you mentioned earlier, simple property ownership or vested interest in some similar tangible asset would preclude many TGO members.  I submit an equal if not great number do not even vote based on comments during election seasons and local/national averages.

Yeah, dunno. Seems TGO might be more like 75-80% turnout, at least on presidential years, but that's just a feeling, no idea really.

As far as boosting overall participation, also dunno about just how, if at all, that would really change course of elections. Maybe we conservatives wouldn't really want it it all in this "progressive era".

But although participation has declined overall in last 50 years, it hasn't been by a huge amount, and has been pretty consistently crummy for the last 100+.

Here's a couple of of charts that show that, and every one I've ever seen are pretty close, so they're likely pretty valid:

How about a license or permit to vote? Gotta have one so it seems for everything else. Of course anything that will or has been mentioned will be discriminatory but the test could be part of your education on American History in HS since apparently that's not being taught anymore. It could also be granted at the time of your drivers license. But that won't work because the public schools are part of the problem.

(note to self, elect those who want to dissolve government intrusion into our education system.)

Wait, we are all dreaming, nothing will change until we vote all the communists out of office, until then this is all poop. Might as well get term limits first before we change the voting requirements.

It's nice to dream.  It's the only thing that gets most people through the day.

I'm sure we on TGO could solve all the worlds problems in less time than the King takes to play a round of golf. Sorry, my attitude has sucked since the crowning.

Both Ds and Rs are using the gun issue to hid the real problem...a weak economy! Both parties hid behind emotional issues and do little to correct big issues. The American people need to tell the government to "Lead, Follow or Get Out of the Way". I vote for Get Out of the Way.

How about a HS diploma, or equivalent, required to vote?

I don't agree with the owning property requirement even though I own property. I know a lot of people who feel renting is the way to go and honestly I sometimes wonder if it isn't the smarter choice.

Absolutely no! what needs to change is the "compassion" part of the government. The government is not supposed

to be in the compassion business. Take the ones out of the government who win by buying and feeling sorry for all

the people who don't support themselves and you have fixed the largest part of the problem.

Show me where in the Constitution it even gives the federal government the responsibility to perform this function.

I keep on saying it: Enumerated rights. It isn't there! So, we are already there, you say. Okay, when the money

runs out and the experiment failed, see where that gets us. I think it is called a ruined country. Obviously, there is

much more to it than that, like nation-building, bailing out banks and insurance companies and many other things,

but it has to stop, and will. The "will" part is right around the corner.

How bout you get one vote for each dollar you paid the previous year in federal income tax?

.....and hold all federal elections on April 15th.

Nice!! But osama would have one anyway...remember all those taxes that didn't increase just like he promised

That would drastically change the elections. There would be a lot of people crying, but it would be representative

of those who pay the bills and there would be a lot of crap cut immediately. That's why it will never happen, also.

Well that's part of it. The Republican statists aren't doing us any damn good either. The people that think the Republican party as a whole is your friend I'm afraid are mistaken. I've been a Republican all my life and after putting losers like McCain and Romney I can't deal with it anymore. I always felt that voting for a third party candidate was like throwing your vote away yet we have a damn socialist in office so obviously it isn't working for me.

As long as you have the illegal democrats pouring across the border and all these fucking losers on the dole collecting government handouts and the black vote all supporting the socialist in chief we don't have a chance.

All those illegal democrats don't even need the immigration bill to pass. All they have to do is show up on election

day and vote away. Some maybe three or four times if they work it right, with our so-strict voting standards.

As long as the voting electorate keep being stupid and unable to think for themselves on the issues, and then just pull the lever b/c they are promised everything free, we have no chance.
