:yum:1 1/2 in. sirloin, very pink/warm red center, baked tator, sour cream-bacon bits-cheddar, grilled squash, garlic bread, cold bud light. recliner

Well I had fresh cooked pinto beans, chopped onions ( in the beans), fried ground hamburger meat, and mac & cheese.

Substitute that beef for some old fashion salmon patties, and you got yourself one fine feast. But, then you'll have to cook up some corn bread to go with it.

Put a Turkey breast in some brine Friday, put it on the smoker at 8:00 this morning over charcoal and a drip pan with white wine, apples, onions and habenareos. When I stuck the thermometer in to check it around 4:30, the juice squirted out of it. The warden made a pan of dressing with sausage in it and we topped it off with a can of cranberry sauce. I think I'll take a nap now...

After a long, hot (been told the hottest day of the year) day of stringing up electric fence, I was too tired to really cook, and didn't feel like driving all the way into town again.

So, I'm having a Marie Calendar pot pie, courtesy of the microwave. Probably cook tomorrow.
