JFloyds Golf and Guns in Pigeon Forge. Lots of stock, most high as a giraffes butt! Sevier Indoor Range/ gunshop. Nice store, haven't been in there for a while so not sure of price or selection. A few pawnshops around that make J Floyd's prices seem reasonable.

I've been to Seviere Indoor Range a couple times & it's where I went for my HCP range test. I live about 2 1/2 hours away so it's been a couple years since I've gone there, but my wife & I enjoyed the visit & the staff were helpful & friendly. It was air conditioned & ventilated & made a hot day at the range a lot more enjoyable.

Ya, I'd recommend against JFloyds. As others have mentioned the prices are pretty high and they were pretty quick to jack their prices during that little run on black guns last year. Example: they had a double star AR for 699.99 one day, the next day the same rifle was 999.99. I don't look fondly on that kind of stuff, just my personal feelings of course.

The only deal I ever got at JFloyds was on a case of 20 boxes of 9mm Federal ammo. That was during their "Grand Opening" sale when they moved across the driveway frome near Hammers to in the gas station building.  Haven't seen a decent price there since.

I've stopped by J Floyd's a few times but they've never been open. Makes sense, it's been twice that we stopped for gas after a day trip to the area.

I do love that in CA you see a lot of fast food attached to gas stations. Subway, McDonalds, all the favorites. But never a gun store. I was absolutely thrilled to see it where it was, plus the whole golf and gun thing tells me that somewhere in East TN someone is living the dream.

"Excuse me, do you all have tennis balls ?"

"Nope, golf balls and bullets though."

"Why not tennis balls?"

"I like golf and guns."

"So your not worried about loosing a potential paying customer?"

"Nope."

Seems like a sweet position to be in.
