.22LR and I put it back...

My wife had to ask me if I was sick.

Cabelas was stocked full this afternoon, no 500+ bricks, but plenty of 50 and 100. Mostly CCI Mini Mags, but they had plenty in inventory.

I grabbed a brick, but eventually put it back out of principle. I didn't need it, and if it all sells out, maybe someone that did would get it.

I'm of the mind that if I don't need it (i don't as of right now) I buy it and just give it to (or sell it at cost if we aren't close) someone I know does and that won't resell it. Why leave it to chance?  :pleased:

With that said I'd panic if I saw mini mags. I haven't seen those in a while.

I'm surprised you guys are seeing 500+ bricks, I haven't seen one in 1.5 years...not that I look a lot.  I'm down to 1 unopened brick left, time to start being on the lookout.

Good for you leaving it for the next guy. I've left some and taken some off and on depending on my supply, the amount on the shelf and which shelf it is. At this rate I'm really just happy seeing mostly full ammo counters and cases available for sale again locally. The rimfire situation will and I think already has begun righting itself. It will be a long time before bricks are gathering dust on shelves, but I think its safe to leave a little around this point if your flush.

I tend to buy it whenever I see it just to keep the local scummy neckbearded "entrepeneurs" from buying it for the sole purpose of selling at 3x that price on Backpage and continuing the "panic"

I recently went to Wal-Mart and they had a big stack of 100 rd CCI in .22LR.  3 box limit.

I bought two boxes and said I would leave the other for someone else. The people around me just couldn't understand my logic. One person was trying to convince the clerk to sell him the box I left behind. People can't seem to understand they are making this worse.
