Thanks for the feedback. I looked at the Silencerco Omega 300. Description says : It ships with a 5/8×24 Bravo Direct Thread Mount, Bravo Basic Tool, Bravo Multi Tool, and a .30 cal Bravo Anchor Brake. That's good but is it Hub adapter compatible?

I have a new and never shot S&W M&P9 2.0 Compact in 9mm. I am the original owner and it has never been shot. Comes with 2 15rd magazine , all the grip back-straps, and papers. These are the same size and capacity as a Glock 19. It is S&W's version of the Glock 19. I am looking to trade it even for a used but in good shape Glock 27 in .40S&W. I am in Clarksville but can travel some for the right deal. Thanks for looking.

Suppressing 14x1LH Barrels, Bolt Guns and Suppressor Sales Today

1- Rearden makes good stuff. It’s all I use and mine are Q Plan B compatible with either FHD or R2S muzzle devices on my guns. I don’t do direct thread on anything, although I will if I ever get a .22 can. 2 - If back pressure is not a concern, Silencerco Omega 300 is tough to beat. More cans are being made that reduce back pressure and most compromise some decibel reduction. They are well worth it IMO if you are using a gas operated semi-auto and are a lot more effective than the gas-busting charging handle gimmicks. Gassy face is such a drag. 3 - I’m not holding my breath over the HPA becoming reality. That said, my NFA guy is holding a can for me (that I have paid for) for a bit to see what happens. If the HPA goes up in smoke, I’ll just pay my $200 but if it passes, I’ll be glad I held off. Plus, suppressors will completely vanish due to 20x demand for (I fear) a lot longer than a year. -

I bought a HUXWRX Flow Range 36 Ti ( as my 1st can) and am enjoying it. My goal was to get something that would be able to go on a couple 8mm guns (M76, M49) . I actually found a guy that makes a direct thread Hub adapter that will allow fixation to an M76 Flash Hider (here soon). 1) I’ve been looking for direct to Hub thread adapters to go on some AKs i.e. ComBloc 14x1LH barrels (M77, M70B1, VZ2008, Dracos, others). But have only found a few so far. I would have thought many would be available out there. I may eventually invest in FH to Hub adapters to quickly swap but that stuff really adds up at what I feel are pretty ridiculous prices per rifle (for what should be low dollar adapters). Yea I understand adding a KNS piston may be indicated. For M76/M77 there’s a guy that makes finer adjust gas adjust piston-cups. As far as non-concentric issues, well, I’m hoping the 36ti diameter will be generous enough so as not to fear probs on 30cal barrels. HUXWRX is pretty vague about what they “approve”. Any of these GTG? https://www.eccomachine.net/product/direct-thread-mounts/ https://charliescustomclones.com/energetic-armament-direct-thread-mount-for-vox-m14x1-6h-lh/ https://yhm.net/suppressor-accessories/hub-direct-thread-mount-system-yhm-2189/ https://www.opticsplanet.com/rearden-mfg-direct-thread-1-2-28-suppressor-adapter.html?_iv_code=66B-MD1-RDT1SA2-10175 2) I do want to get another traditional baffled can specific for use on my bolt guns. What would be the best out there nowadays? Since backpressure is not a concern is there much difference? How to identify what’s out “there” on the interwebs? 3) I can’t help but wonder, since the Hearing Protection (or SHUSH) Act is basically part of Elon’s (err umm Donald’s) beloved Big Beautiful Bill and has a good chance of maintaining through the Senate, Are we all waiting for it to clear/pass? Of course, if it does there will be a massive run on suppressors and back orders will go through the roof for maybe a year before things settle down, new players hop into the market and, I would assume, prices plummet . IOW are you waiting ?

Not often. It’s a super nice piece. Really surprised it hasn’t moved yet. May take it down and trick it out a bit.

ne stage this year will honor MOH Recipient Brian Leroy Buker: Brian L. Buker was born on November 3, 1949, in Benton, Maine. After graduating from Lawrence High School in Fairfield, Maine, Buker chose to follow in the footsteps of his three older brothers who had served in Vietnam. Buker enlisted after his 17th birthday and was selected for Army Special Forces training. After completing a rigorous selection process, he was assigned to the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) and deployed to Vietnam. After being promoted to Sergeant, Buker volunteered for a second tour within the 5th Special Forces Group, He was assigned to Detachment B-55 of the 5th Mobile Strike Force Command, known as the MIKE Force. As a member of the MIKE Force, his primary mission was to operate as a platoon advisor for the 513th Company, made up of trained Vietnamese civilians. On 5 April 1970, Detachment B-55 was tasked with clearing a series of Viet Cong held bunkers on a mountain called Núi Két, in modern day An Giang Province, bordering Cambodia. Well-shielded from air attacks and mortar barrages, the Viet Cong stronghold had to be taken by force. Buker was acting as a platoon advisor for the Vietnamese mobile strike force company when his platoon came under intense fire. Taking the initiative, he counterattacked and successfully resupplied his comrades. Buker then led his men for the final assault against the mountain fortress. Caught between the heavy crossfire of two enemy bunkers, and realizing that retreat would result in heavy casualties, Buker fearlessly stormed the first enemy bunker, destroying it with four hand grenades. Rushing back to reorganize his men for an attack on the second bunker, he was severely wounded. Deciding to push on, Buker refused medical attention and crawled toward the second enemy bunker. Tossing a grenade, he eliminated the enemy and saved countless lives. Not long later, however, his wounds proved fatal. The remaining enemy forces were driven out that evening, and Núi Két was secured. For his actions on April 5, 1970, Sgt. Buker was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor and the Purple Heart. During his time in service, he was also awarded two Bronze Stars, a Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry, and the Combat Infantryman Badge. In 2010, Buker’s family donated his Medal of Honor to Lawrence High School, in Benton, Maine, where it is on display in the school’s library. His family donated his medal “so future generations will know who he was and what he did for his county, lest they forget.” 5 April 70 – Citation to Accompany the Award of the Medal of Honor: “For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty. Sgt. Buker, Detachment B-55, distinguished himself while serving as a platoon adviser of a Vietnamese mobile strike force company during an offensive mission. Sgt. Buker personally led the platoon, cleared a strategically located well-guarded pass, and established the first foothold at the top of what had been an impenetrable mountain fortress. When the platoon came under intense fire from a determined enemy located in two heavily fortified bunkers, and realizing that withdrawal would result in heavy casualties, Sgt. Buker unhesitatingly, and with complete disregard for his personal safety, charged through the hail of enemy fire and destroyed the first bunker with hand grenades. While reorganizing his men for the attack on the second bunker, Sgt. Buker was seriously wounded. Despite his wounds and the deadly fire, he crawled forward and destroyed the second bunker. Sgt. Buker refused medical attention and was reorganizing his men to continue the attack when he was mortally wounded. As a direct result of his heroic actions, many casualties were averted, and the assault of the enemy position was successful. Sgt. Buker's extraordinary heroism at the cost of his life are in the highest traditions of the military service and reflect great credit on him, his unit, and the U.S. Army.”
