I couldn't agree more, sir. I think that accident changed him. It certainly ruined the end of the Dark Tower series.

I was a big fan of Stephen King years ago when he was first getting started. Great and scary stuff. But I believe that accident that almost killed back in 1999 changed him. The last couple of his books I tried to read absolutely sucked. I didn't even finish the last one. Put it down after struggling through about one quarter of it.
