We had three WWII veterans at the Sergeants Major Academy graduation today. We were all very honored.

LOL, I know that pistol. It has made the rounds. I have the same grips on my .40 Hi-Power. I carry mine now and then. the grips have a few dings but have held up well.

Sacrilege, the PPK and PPK/s are iconic.

I have seen firing pins break in Trainee's rifles, never on my own.

High Powers and 1911's for close to four decades.

I just got a Citadel 9MM that is made by the same company that makes Rock Island. I have owns a few Rock's and I think this pistol has a better fit and finish. it shoots very well. I got it to do a conversion. It comes in a full and compact size. To include a lifetime warranty.

Remington makes a move... actually, several.
R1100R replied to tartanphantom's topic in General Chat
It is reported at the start of the article. It is important to note that, as we reported last December, the Freedom Group is no more. It is now called the Remington Outdoor Company (henceforth referred to as Remington). - See more at: http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2014/05/15/breaking-news-facts-remington-consolidation/#sthash.ICx9zSa8.dpuf -
Magic and I went this route also for a SBR. Bought them from CNC Warrior with the Bonesteel folder already installed. Bought them before Christmas when they had a great deal on them.

Very nice. -
I had my lake house done in a metal roof and it leaked. Also lost a metal roof due to the high winds during storm season. I also did a roof in fiberglass which was very expensive but held up very well. So there are pluses and minuses to both. I have had better luck with shingles. It is not always cheaper doing metal, it depends on many factors. For my current house metal was three times the price when using metal shingles and twice for the long seam transitional. My Certain Teed roof was designer dimensional shingles and added a great look to the house. A good contractor goes a long way whether you use shingles or metal, ask for addresses to see samples of the work. I used http://www.genesisroofing.net/ they do commercial and residential roofing in all materials. Great people and they are based in Hendersonville and they cover 12 States. Can answer all your questions on roofs at no cost.

I had my roof done with the Certain Teed Landmark 30 year shingles about five years ago. Had my new detached garage done with them too. My Brother is a builder and recommended them to me. Most of the bids I got on my roof were for 20 year shingles. The Certain Teed were offered as a upgraded product from many Companies. Two of my neighbors went with the same set up after seeing mine.

saw them in the HS warehouse in El Paso. Had them stacked high and deep. cases of .22 LR also.

I use the Kies Master Blaster on both my .308 and 5.56 AR' s. Both with good results. Can't complain about the price from Joe Bob's either.

I live in Gladeville, which is between Lebanon and Mt. Juliet. Both of my children play on soccer teams. The league has two seasons a year which my 10 yo Daughter plays on. Most of the elementary schools have a program called Kid's Club which runs during the year and summer break for a nominal fee. There is all kinds of stuff for them to do around the area. My son is in a Explorer troop. There are many Scouting activities in the area. Welcome to Wilson County, if you need any info feel free to contact me.

It was at a shop in Texas. But they are available on Gunbroker for that price. There are 6 pages of them listed overall. Few are selling. I think the novelty has worn off and the prices are coming down for a few months. My MSAR shoots great so I have not been in a hurry.

Very nice modification. I have been looking at the TAVOR. I passed on one in FDE for $1590 new this past week. The prices are coming down on them. I have a MSAR and it has been a great rifle. Love the bull pup concept.

I have one of the .22 Mag/.22LR combos and carry it in a pocket holster all the time. I have found the .22Mag to be very accurate and use the .22 Mag Critical Defense ammo.

I use the Bushnell TRS on my cheaper .22's. But it is hard to beat a Ultradot "matchdot" for what you get.

Where to find Amish furniture craftsmen in the mid-state area?
R1100R replied to TGO David's topic in General Chat
There are a lot of Amish up by Ft Campbell also. I had quite a bit of furniture built up there. It was inexpensive when I first started acquiring it. But they have gotten quite and education over the past few years in what their products are worth do to the recession and downsizing in growing crops. I will see if I can find the card. It is on the Oak Grove, KY side. One of the funniest thing I ever saw up there were Amish people doing brick work on the Cat West Strip Club one day on my way to Ft Campbell to a meeting. -
Magic is still around here lurking. I talk to him almost every day, were working on some pistols to include a couple of Krink projects. Eddie-Molonlabetn just posted on here the other day. I too concur with the reasons some have stated, the board has just changed from what it was a few years ago.

This guy might be able to do it or point you in the right direction. I purchased one of his custom built AK's and it is first rate. Plus he is in your neck of the woods. http://www.neverenoughguns.com/default.html
