  1. Lot of changes coming, no more muzzle loader or bow or gun permits if I am reading them correctly, there will be a deer hunting permit, looks like they will allow baiting for a charge, lifetime permits won't cover it, reckon our lifetime are getting devalued, I probably won't ever bait but I feel the lifetime should cover it.
  2. Also this end of the state has very few deer compared to middle and west Tn, so that's a funny statement lol
  3. TWRA didn't start this bill or ask for it, they also didn't add the money part, Alabama already dose that, please post a link to the fine print that TWRA has supposedly made. It's easy to say something but I haven't found that they have made any statement yet, looks like they are waiting to see how it plays out.
  4. HB938 | Tennessee 2025-2026 | Licenses - As introduced, creates a bait privilege license to allow hunting or taking of whitetail deer and wild-appearing swine using bait on privately owned or privately leased land. - Amends TCA Title 70. | TrackBill
  5. Is this going to pass?. Im not for it as it will start a corn war, I am to poor to engage and it really doesn’t help the general health of the herd, mix in some cwd and it just doesn’t sound like a good idea to slow it down.
  6. I am so glad I don't have to fight traffic every day there, retired in November, Dr appointments have been a PIA but I will survive lol. I started work back in 77 and malfunction junction was wide open hot mess. lot of folks never had to fight it can't imagine the number of rear end wrecks.
  7. Prayers sent for a speedy recovery, April 22 to get my right shoulder rotator cuff and bone spur, left 1 might have to wait for another year, it's no where as bad.
  8. I quit buying them in 2006, grandkids never bought 1, I bought them 1 that lasts forever. try it you will like it lol
  9. No assatall also, Ruger 380 in a front pocket by itself, if I carry my 45 I have to wear suspenders and for itwb only a couple pair of pants that will work, going to have rotator cuff surgery very soon and should have been practicing a lot of stuff left handed lol
  10. Guns in Vehicles in Illinois | Giffords
  11. I have a buddy that got his pistol taken court the whole 9 yards a few years ago, he had a Tn carry permit, so when did they change the law there? he was on the interstate and passing through.
  12. Shot a savage 110 243 for a long time, gave it to my son and moved to 300wm, gotta have shoulder surgery soon so might trade him back for it lol. besides my muzzle loaders I have had more bang flops with it, 100g Federal 100g spbt carries over 1000lbs to 400y.
  13. I have a Marlin 882ssv , it's very accurate out to 100y, I'm ashamed to say it probably is more accurate than I can shoot some days lol
  14. Missed that on the news some how, the wife always complains about me carrying and I hope to never need it, better to have and not need than need and not have imo. Whats with all the signs on the interstate doing with bullet holes? they need to find out who is doing it before somebody is hurt
  15. Hope you have a great time, I would take my 45 with some hard cast , but a new gun is always welcome at my house lol
  16. 33 here and a light frost after temps in the mid 20's earlier in the week, worked today but headed out early in the morning, got a cornfield they started picking today and hope they take a break tomorrow for a few hours, been a slow start, no shots during muzzy season was down with back problems and wasted a week of vacation with little hunting, this getting old stuff sucks lol , good luck to all
  17. It's a proper ruling from TWRA , 1 day we will just have a season and a limit, I may be so old that I will have to use my pickup instead of a rifle
  18. I was thinking it moved from a 5 year to a 8 year ? at my age a lifetime would have been a waste of $ probably lol
  19. Most of the WMA put out dove fields, ck the guide it will tell
  20. Looks great, I caught a 16 1/4" out of Douglas years ago, thats the biggest yet, thought I had a bass at first
  21. Hope you kissed him lol, its a rare day to get a deal like that. evidently he wasn't hurt on the deal so he must've had it awhile .
