Fair enough sir.

I apologize for offending you. This was not meant to detract from the word of God.

How to: SBR/SBS

I wouldn't want to be the first to test the word of the BATFE as conclusive, but I agree with OS that a sig brace would seem to apply to a pistol-grip shotgun as a device which does not change its classification... Provided one does not attempt to conceal the weapon in public, as astutely mentioned by Dolomite. -
Got made at a wedding this past weekend...
molonlabetn replied to hlb14's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
He should have asked you himself if it was that urgent... Why bother the mother of the bride with impromptu security matters? If it was me working security, I'd simply watch for a bit to see if you were drinking, then let it go, being then the wiser of a potential ally. -
Welcome. Those used to be some of my haunts... Still have friends that way.

Yep, a Jennings/Bryce 9 is all it took for me... I'm here. And I know all too well the value of this brotherhood in dark times. James, Todd, David, Shannon, Elliot, Dan, Mike, Joe, Julia... and so many others. I can't thank you enough for literally saving my life. -

I remember that... Even shot some of it if I recall. Goes to show... when there's nothing left to say, burn powder as brothers and part as men. -
Welcome sir. Thank you for your service.

Haven't had it happen, but there could have been bubbles in the lead when the bullet was molded... Would be spectacular I imagine. Just snake the barrel for fragments and keep shooting.

I'm finding myself wanting an M&P Shield lately...

That's a bird's head grip... Several companies make them. BTW, The loop on the pump forend isn't just for looks... You'll need it to hang on with anything but the lightest loads -
There is no country on earth that I would willingly send others to fight and die in, that I wouldn't fight and die for, myself. That said... Iraq is not one of those countries. There are plenty of bad people and bad governments, let the good people there be the first to struggle and if need be ASK for HELP deposing an irrepresentative government. Then, and only then, we choose winnable battles. We did the opposite. I cannot support conflict which results in thousands of dead American soldiers... Each of whom is testament to the best of humanity in personal sacrifice. But on top of that, their sacrifice is now being nullified because of bureaucratic ineptitude of the ungrateful masses and their pacifist minions. Fuck Iraq. God bless the selfless souls who have toiled for years to make a difference despite the impossible and disingenuous means afforded them. Let that place return to dust.

2 main reasons... The first is that steel cases do not readily expand and seal the chamber, allowing gasses into the breech. This is especially problematic with blowback pistols (which most .380s are) since the cycle is not delayed by case friction. This results in higher slide velocities and more frame wear. The second is extractor hardness... Steel (actually ductile iron) cases are much harder than brass, and may cause some premature extractor wear or chipping.

1) I am thy loaded weapon, thou shalt place no innocent persons before me 2) Thou shalt not send to the grave any who hath not assailed thee 3) Thou shalt not spray and pray bullets in vain 4) Remember thy targets, and make them holey 5) Honor thy family, and keepeth them safe. 6) Thou shalt prevent murder 7) Thou shalt not take another man's gun as thine own 8) Thou shalt know and obey the meaning of a cold range 9) Thou shalt bear arms, even against thy liberal neighbor's wishes 10) Thou shalt covet the weaponry of thy TGO neighbor

10 pmags + A DSG Patch for $79
molonlabetn replied to mcordell's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
I'll bite... That's a good deal. Thanks! -
For carry... A Dan Wesson or Springfield would top my list. For the range, all I can tell you is what I did... Took a RIA and had it gone through with a Cylinder & Slide package and a Clark compensated barrel. I'm in it for just under $1500, and from an accuracy and reliability standpoint I'd put it up against pretty much anything money could buy in a 1911... Except in the appearance dept, it's worn because I use it.

Hunter will be missed even more now. I shot with him at several TGO range trips to Owl Hollow, when TGO was in its infancy. I took too long of an absence from here... Missed too much. I always enjoyed interacting with HunterH, he was a great fellow and we were lucky to have him as part of TGO. Your wife and kids and whole family are in my prayers... Rest in peace sir. -
There is quite a bit of difference between a 'revolution' and killing a man while he is eating lunch. The shooters deserve their current condition. My heart breaks for the officers' families.

Definetly been having cell issues on Verizon this past week. So have a couple other people I've talked to...

Which handgun platform do you like and why? (1911 not included)
molonlabetn replied to JKGlock17's topic in Handguns
I like both 1911s and Glocks primarily... Sig is a close second. Beretta and the XD and the M&P come in third. I wanted to like H&K and Walther, but they feel wonky to me. -
The 1903 is a great shooter... Worth far more in intrinsic value than anything else.
