  1. He was definitely not your friend. Time to move on and don't look back.
  2. This was sent out by a gun store in FL I do business with on line. This statement was in their weekly e-newsletter. By the way, the store is called On Point Firearms.
  3. ATK sent out a statement to all dealers and distributors regarding the shortage of ammunition that is plaguing our industry. Here's the word straight from the horse's mouth: "Dear Valued Customer, As you are aware, the unprecedented demand for commercial ammunition has exceeded the industry’s ability to service the marketplace in the near term and has resulted in an industry‐wide shortage at most retail outlets. With more than 2,000 dedicated employees working diligently around the clock, we continue to take appropriate action across our manufacturing enterprise to increase and align production capacity in response to this demand and, ultimately, service your needs – this is our first priority! Despite our consistent and dedicated efforts, there remains much speculation and misinformation regarding the availability of commercial ammunition. In one example, there are a vocal few who believe that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is buying excessive quantities of ammunition thereby restricting availability to the commercial market. Simply stated, this is a false and baseless claim. In fact, we do supply the DHS with a small percentage of ammunition in select calibers consistent with our contractual requirements. However, the commercial market receives the vast majority of ammunition produced to serve the needs of civilian hunters and shooting sports enthusiasts. As a committed partner to the shooting sports industry, we thank you for your support in dispelling unfounded rumors relating to the supply and demand of commercial ammunition. We continue to support the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) in representing the legislative interests of our industry."
  4. IF you're outside the city limits check with Farm Credit Services. They are usually very competitive and THE lowest fee scale out there.

    Trikes in TN

Boss Hoss are really amazing. They're built here in Dyersburg. They're built with a GM 350 V8. And if that's not enough power there is an option to get a GM 8.1 V8, holy smokes! Bikes, trikes, custom built any way you want. Just get ready to pony up the bills, some of these babies can top out 50k.
  6. Very nice result.
  7. The new owner would never have to wonder if it had been used in a crime...
  8. Yes indeed, one of the side effects of using that holster is that reaching for the pistol tends to disengage the bad guy momentarily! On the other point, I think sig has another holster that will accommodate the sights. The holster you got is included in the package, now they have a chance to SELL you one.
  9. I read it and your quote. The fact that the above sentence is in the story implies that some thought it would be well and good to get Gen. Forrest out of the park.
  10. Mrs. Rowdy also has a P238 and this is her choice most of the time. The rest of the time she uses the sig holster that came with the P238. http://www.thewellarmedwoman.com/apps/store/default.asp?view=profile&itemid=39021
  11. If you've got a CDL the class and endorsements are on the front.
  12. You're absolutely right. And don't forget that now it's DOS & Homeland Security. I feel much safer just typing the words...
  13. You would really be doing our society a great service by rearing some up standing conservative citizens. I did my part, I'm even helping teach some things to my grandkids. If everyone gives up all will be lost. But if we continue to fight the good fight there is always an opportunity to shape our society for the better. I'm stepping off my soapbox now...
  14. So if enough people don't like a dead person we can dig them up and move them somewhere else? More insanity...
  15. Just don't leave your mind so open your brains fall out.
  16. He's from New Jersey, he'll swerve left, right, and left again. Whatever advances his personal fortunes.
  17. Several ago an east TN lawmaker suggested that the state give Shelby county to Arkansas, thereby raising the IQ of both states. Very seldom can a person insult so many people in one sentence. :)
  18. I don't much about economics (it's called the dismal science for a reason) but I do know the numbers can be easily manipulated. One current measurement of inflation removes the cost of energy and food. No honest person would call that a fair measurement of inflation.
  19. That's when the current barter system will grow exponentially. Basically, our economy will start over, reset, if you please.
  20. Congratulations. Tell her to keep practicing. The adrenaline will really be pumping if she ever "has" to use it.
  21. In the spirit of more is better, four big ones would be much better! :)
  22. I had a feeling you might be the first to reply OS. It's always great to associate with great minds. Thanks TGO.
  23. A friend is moving to TN from KY. She has a KY carry permit, will she have to take the test in TN or will the DOS issued a HCP based on the KY permit?
  24. If you stop and consider it, corporations don't pay taxes, never have. Their customers have always paid their taxes; raise corporate taxes and you and I will pay them.
