1. But is he really Spetznaz if he wasn't back flipping while throwing an e-tool?
2. Do as we say, not as we do.
3. Nice work again. Just curious as to why you didn't stain the inside of the leather as well.
4. Well that's different.
5. Well that's cool but certainly not $400 cool.  Wasn't there another trigger like this? Tricon or something?
6. Darn you Willis68, you've made my knife tastes go up in dollar amount. Anyway a Brous Blades VR-71 found it's way home with me tonight. It's not a spring assist but you would never be able to tell with how smooth the blades opens. You just have to apply a little bit of pressure to the flipper and it's open, just incredibly smooth. 7. Well if you had asked I would have gladly passed on my Schaum's Guides in thermodynamics for you to read. Lol.
8. Let's play "find the engineers"
9.
10. Might be able to link up with some of the maker spaces that have all that equipment already. Not sure if there are any in the area or not though.
11. I feel like this has the capacity to go oh so wrong or oh so right.
12. That was supposed to inexpensive but I just now caught that.
13. I like the way you think.
14. Permanent. Looking at the Surefire brake.
15. Call Law Enforcement Sales, no need to make another call after that.
16. Can't go wrong with a thumb break on a leather holster.
17. Nice part about Esstac is that you could probably have pistol pouches and a holster sewn into a back panel if you went with a larger model up from the Trim Bush.
18. Well as of right now I have a 14.5" midlength barrel with an SLR adjustable gas block and the Troy sights as well as an upper. So what I need now is trigger, muzzle device, lower, and lower parts. Not to mention optics.
19. I haven't assigned a dollar amount. I want to build a rifle with good quality parts that make sense, not a 500 dollar charging handle because it's the latest and greatest invention made of some new alloy. Judging from my parts list though it's not going to be an inexpensive build, but I'm ok with that because I've been piecing things together for a while now.
20. I'll bite.  I have Esstac, Mayflower, had SOE, and have some HSGI pouches.  Esstac is my current favorite due to the back panels being able to be swapped out.  Plus Stu, the owner of Esstac is a super nice guy and easy to work with.  The Mayflower UW Gen IV is also nice but won't fit .308 magazines.
21. I'll up the bid to $300 bucks, 2 guinea fowl, and a goat.
22. "Within reason" Not Ted's full TI build.
23. Oh it's going to be a little carbine. Working on a longer range one but it's not the focus of this topic.
24. So I've started on a nice, no budget within reason AR build. I'm curious to see what everyone would do in a similar situation. Sights have been selected, aset of Troy HK style folders. Everything else is open for discussion.
25. HK 91/PTR 91/G3 style rifle. Finish some parts kits and would like to start pitting some money back for a nice bolt gun and a Sig P226 of some variety.
