It's not hard if the parts fit. Quite often on a 1911 they don't so you have to start in with "fitting".

A "brick" of .22 ammunition is 10 boxes of 50 rounds each packed into a larger container roughly the shape of a brick for a total of 500 rounds. No other configuration is a "brick". That is all. Thank you. :)

Is this what you're talking about? http://www.amazon.com/NcStar-Pistol-Accessory-Adapter-MADGLO/dp/B004QP2TJA I would have a concern with switch clearance around the trigger guard that some lights have. Looks like this attaches to the guard so it may prove to be too thick.
