  1. I question a Hi Power of that vintage being two tone.  I question any pistol being two tone as a matter of fact.  Regardless, Hi Powers are classics.  If it's been refinished then the "investement" part of owning and passing it on is diminished.
  2. "Native Americans" are in fact mongoloids.  THEY crossed the land bridge.  There weren't any people here before that.
  3.   It's still unplugged, right?
  4. Guns do not come from the factory like that.
  5.   It's "Surplus Pistol Powder".  I'm also curious to know what it is (commercial designation) and where it came from (surplus from who and what).
  6. I'm partial to the YHM Phantom.  It's cheap, looks good and is effective.
  7. Why not load it?  It's brass.  Just separate it.
  8.   And that liquid-cooled heresy has been in production for what, 15 years now?   It's weird, but HD is keeping up with the times.  The V-twin isn't going anywhere for the purists.
  9. Typical politicitian:   1) "I'm sorry".  Doesn't that excuse everything? 2)  Blame it on a staffer.
  10. The State has 90 days to issue.  Settle down....or "Keep Calm and WAIT" to paraphrase all those stupid-ass t-shirts.  :P   It will come soon enough.
  11. I wonder what caused the gun to jam....a dingleberry?
  12.   One was a case price that worked out to $5.92/box of 20 rounds.  That price was available to everyone (with no CC fee I might add).   The other is for the exact same ammo at $6.49/box of 20 rounds and you have to be a Team Buds member (pay $30) for that price.
  13. Sidewinder, please post a link to what you read.   My understanding is Uncle wrote nephew a check with the notation "Glock 19 handgun" on it BEFORE nephew, who was not law enforcement BTW (his creds had already expired) yet was stil able to buy blue label, went and bought the firearm.   How is that not a straw purchase?   These two morons probably spent untold thousands of dollars to save a hundred bucks.
  14.   They didn't say any of that at all.
  15.   Greatest show ever.
  16. No condescension was intended by my remark.  I just happen to be the type that believes no good will come from calling a place and inquiring as to their weapons policy.  I appears as though you did so with some tact but I usually assume the conversation goes something like...."Can I carry my gun in your place".  If you have couth enough to go to the symphony, you have couth enough to inquire correctly ....many people do not, thus my comment.  Such calls can and have resulted in establishments deciding that they suddenly need a policy and that resultant policy is not a friendly one.
  17.   If you keep talkng about hot chicken I'll drive down there myself and go to Prince's with you.  That's some good eatin'!
  18. If you want the best accuracy look for a stainless steel barrel that is not chrome lined.  1/8" barrels are just about right.

Don't get too excited.  We're a long, long way from an end to this foolishness.
  20. Never, ever call a place and ask if you can carry a gun...especially a symphony hall.
  21.   They already moved it to the U.S. amigo.
  22.   Need....no   Got....yes
  23. People who call cartridges, rounds or bullets "shells" will do anything.
  24. By "bucket o bullets" do you mean Remington Golden Bullets?  Them things are totally unpredictable.  At least it went off.
  25.   As is typical with online ordering bulk purchase is the norm for "breaking even".  Shipping costs have become absurd over the past couple of years.
