I’m wanna be a bass man when I grow up, but lack of talent and dedication to the craft is holding me back, not to mention the complete lack of knowing what one note sounds like versus another. My music theory is that I’m not good at it other than making obnoxious, but groovy beats on random objects to annoy my wife. I do love music though.

Sometimes, Florida Man wears a uniform.

Sounds like a U.S. Revolver Company specimen. That was a budget line from Iver Johnson back in the day. Not military issue. That’s all I got.

The fees paid for a TN fishing license have nothing to do with overseas. They are to support wildlife management in the State which needs even more support now that they repealed the measly 10 cent a box ammo tax we used to have.

Blue Alert issued after one Maryville officer killed, another injured
Garufa replied to Kano's topic in General Chat
It’s going to take a lot more than 100 acres to store the ####stains of society, like walling off an entire city. Think Escape from New York. -
Tisas USA is the same company as SDS Imports, or technically the same people and address. Based in Knoxville, “they” are the importer. That’s why you see some marked SDS and some Tisas, such as this interesting model.

Blue Alert issued after one Maryville officer killed, another injured

I simply do not understand why fancy phone alerts such as this “offend” so many people. It’s a community service regardless of where you live. Cop killers, kidnappers, etc., can be anywhere in the state before those alerts are even sent out. Maybe it’s to alert the public to keep an eye out for them to actually help if they see whoever needs to be found? -
Alright, we got some psychobillies!

RIP Mojo Nixon 2-7-2024. If anyone here actually knows who he was I’ll be shocked.

Not that I really know because value is so absolutely subjective and the market is extremely fickle, but the values thrown out would be rock bottom prices, IMHO.

Ugh, I knew it was going to be a “what is it worth” question. As @gregintennmentioned to finish looks rough. Obviously, the grips are not original, but neither is the cylinder latch, it is from a a much later model/era.

Pose your query and I'm sure we can come up with something that sounds believable.

Thoughts on the recent Hybrid / EV registration penalty?
Garufa replied to Erich's topic in General Chat
The cumulative IQ of the TN State government is that of Forrest Gump. I get hitting EV’s with an added fee to make up for the loss of gas tax revenue because lord knows TDOT needs more money to build new roads rather than maintaining the ones we have, or investing in other forms transportation, but I think they are grossly overestimating the impact of hybrids on loss of revenue. -
Reloading tips you don’t mind sharing
Garufa replied to gregintenn's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
Take your time and be methodical. I only have an old RCBS Rock Chucker so when I get a notion to reload it’s very easy to check everything, then check it again. Also, I weigh the powder drop every 10 rounds and eyeball the powder level in all cases before capping them off when making up a batch. Only thing worse than a round with no powder is one with twice the powder.
