  1.   I'm a Tennessee alum and say Alabama will whoop the Noles any time, any place.  :D
  2. AFAIK, Colt was the only to ever use large pins.
  3. Honestly, can't tell you much about it.  It was one of those $100 gun show setups with the mount and long relief scope.  Was able to keep all the bullets in a black 5" target at 50 yards from a beat-up, bubba'd, barrel-chopped Mosin that had a tendency to keyhole when not cleaned.
  4. Calling that FG attempt was about the stupiest coaching I've seen all year.
  5. No, but I've shot one having  the scout-type setup that replaces the rear sight leaf.  It works well enough.
  6. I only have one suggestion for everyone.  If you have a habit of using cruise control on the interstate turn the thing off and give it a little gas when you are passing someone.  The highways are bad enough these days without people lollygagging in the left-hand lane.
  7. Looks like a total of 24 handguns and three long guns.....http://www.wbir.com/story/news/local/2013/11/30/27-weapons-stolen-from-west-knoxville-gun-shop/3790973/   I know it was discussed in the past but I honestly don't remember so I ask again, is robbing a gun store a federal offense?
  8. 124.  That's what the round was designed for and is usually the cheapest.
  9.   This.  And ask for a little something for all the ammo you've burned up.
  10.   Not me.  I'd rather be in that crowd of hysterical women trying to buy pots and pans.
  11.   When will you be there?
  12. The ONLY way you'd get me to WalMart at the height of the frenzy is with a lawn chair, a cooler full of beer and some good friends all raised up on a platform to behold the spectacle.   This apparently happened at the Turkey Creek WalMart in West Knoxville over a box of motor-mouthed Rachel Ray cookware last night and is tame from other reports coming in.....   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ucrM3TLLJRs   These women are vicious.
  13. I would start with the assumption that it is a problem with your video card driver.  Have you recently updated it?   Here are some steps you can follow to remove the driver http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-hardware/random-bsods-on-win-7-64-bit-caused-by-atikmdagsys/22405645-749b-4d62-92bb-e4710277c90d and reinstall.   I would also run a full check disk to identify and fix any disk errors.  Open a command prompt and type in chkdsk /F then reboot for it to run.
  14. Can someone please explain why the family of this trash even has a say in the matter?
  15. M44's are great for being obnoxious, which I'm all about, but 91/30's are far superior if you want to actually do some marksmanship-like stuff.
  16.   Like I asked, are you running IE 11?  ;)   Similar thread same IE issue.  http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/71885-windows-81-issues/   Is still believe it is a problem with the current version of forum software.  You also can't post a youtube link and have it automatically embedded in IE 8, 9, 10 or 11.
  17.   Didn't look.  If anyone local wants a couple of those cans I just ordered 4 from their website (free shipping).  I really only wanted two so the other two can go at cost ($9.99 + tax)
  18. Well, I went over to Academy this morning hoping to score a couple of those $9.99 ammo cans but NOOOO, they got cleaned out by some "guy from a gun store".
  19. Has anyone priced new cars lately?  ;)
  20.   What the media does not fully explain is that private citizen living in state A can sell to private citizen living in state B but it MUST go through an FFL.  They simply report that anyone can buy a gun off the internet without furthing explaining some of the relevant details.  Big surprise.   I'd wager some of those TDR has argued the issue with are getting their information from what they see on the evening news.
  21.   According to the news media you can.
  22.   Huh?   So you're in.  Was it worth the wait?
