  1.
  2. Kinda reminds me of when I was a kid.  Mom was in the hospital for something and dad had to dress me for a cousin's birthday party.  Vertical striped pants and a horizontal striped shirt with colors weren't even close to matching.
  3. Camo is for hunting in the woods.
  4.   The house version of the bill (HB 0009) passed overwhelmingly 84-10.  It's the Senate that holding it up.
  5. Add Ron Ramsey's name to the list as he is most in opposition to this worthy bill.
  6.   LJ is using 842 if I'm not mistaken.  Different powder.
  7. Even in normal times manufacturers raise their prices every year.
  8.   And Seoul is not even 100 miles from Pyongyang.  We won't be going nuclear unless we want to destroy South Korea in the process.
  9. Well Alabama is still there and just one State south of the line.  I think they need more people.    Welcome.
  10. So no posting videos from next weekend!
  11. Tennessee also ranks as the fourth most miserable state in the country.    So much for rankings.
  12.   Yes, they can and are.
  13. Many people, even in this very state, think an illegal gun is one that's not registered.
  14. Half of that shit is promoted and egged-on by white folks.
  15.     No kidding.  Pull our troops out of South Korea and let the Chinese deal with it.  They're about as sick of them as we are.   After that simply ban all Chinese imports to this country, put people back to work and buy American.
  16. "She is a winner".   If that's the case how come she wouldn't even complete her elected term as Governor of Alaska?   ;)
  17. I submit that if anyone ever wants to see conservatives in charge of this country again they'll let this one go.  Homos getting married effects no one.   The Repbulican party is teetering on the brink of irrelevance and the last I checked they where the represetatives of conservatives.  If they keep on fighting against people's "pursuit of happiness" then don't be surprised if the Dems take the White House again in 2016, and everything else.
  18.   Since their awesome deal to trade everything in did not include ammunition guess what?  They went before City council last week requesting $450K more.
  19.   I don't know that it's an "issue" but the same thing happens in handguns of the same calibers.
  20. If they should turn loose of bunch of bees around me for some reason there's gonna be trouble.  Imagine wildly flailing arms and tourettes-like cussing.
  21. Oh, the alien reptiles are among us.  Does anyone remember the early 80's documentary "V" about their infiltration into society?  The warnings went largely unheeded and look at where we are now.
  22. I'd trade a Mosin for it if I had a few extra.  Totally unsalvageable as an M1917 as it's been permanently altered but it probably is fine shooter if you want to get into 30-06.   If you really want to make the deal I would make sure the receiver is not cracked, a known issue with Eddystones during barrel replacement.    That being said, if it was ME, I wouldn't even touch it, literally. If it was laying on a table at a gunshow or behind the counter at a pawn shop I wouldn't touch it or ask to see it.  But I'm a mil-surp snob purist.
  23.       Me neither. Where does it say that?
  24. That's an excellent example of the Colt Woodsman series and is probably worth quite a bit, as in a lot.
  25. Awesome rifles and as accurate as any other mil-surp bolt actions. Ridiculously over-built receiver. Many were rechambered back in the day for magnum powered loads. Can't see the link as I ain't logging in but a bubbaed mil-surp, especially an American one, to me is worth no more than the average run of the mill Mosin. Personally, I will never own one if it could not be restored and it sounds like it might be past the point of no return. Here is what one is supposed to look like:
