EO would probably be their preferred way to go about it but that pesky Constitution might get in the way.   I would not be surprised to see something tied in with whatever "deal" those morons up there come up with to avoid the "fiscal cliff".

I think there is some coincidence involved that these shootings take place in gun free zones.  All the places you mentioned are areas where there are lots of people concentrated.  Nutjobs are looking to go out with a bang and take as many with them as possible.

  Understood.  Here's mine.  The kid was retarted, or whatever politically correct term you prefer for his disorder.  He held great resentment for his mother, a teacher, who showed more attention to her kids at school and was more proud of them than him.   He couldn't handle the years of jealousy brewing in his mind.  Got hold of a gun, which is extremely easy in this country, and went to set things right.    We can theorize and opinionate all we like.  The outcome of this devestating tragedy will not be kind to gun owners or others who believe in certains "rights".

Can we keep the crackpot theories to a minimum please?  The source of the guns will come out eventually.   Even if his mother did buy them she's dead now. 

Reasoning is an innate trait influenced by outside forces.   Many are not even born with the ability at all.  They are called ignorant.   Many are and have the gift shaped by influences they do not question.  They are called weak.   The others are intelligent enough to search out answers and form their own opinions weighing all input from the increasingly various hypotheses and exclamations provided by the first two groups.  They are called reasonable.
