  1. That was 4 days ago.
  2. You guys are writing local and state officials as well, right?   http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/12/27/states-cities-already-mulling-assault-weapons-bans/
  3. You do not want to be in any kind of wheelchair at a gun show, especially one held at this venue.  Once some cropduster comes along and leaves a trail of tears you'll be left gagging and in need of a shower.  Gotta be able to move fast.
  4. You know the drill, post up some pics.
  5. i was wondering if the visual id chart would be updated.
  6. Is that the elusive Ruger 1911 Mr. Duke?
  7. I love a Mosin as well but it is not a wise choice for a first rifle.  Get a .22, you will get far more enjoyment out of it.
  8.   They did nothing "unwittingly".  Permission was asked of and denied by DC police for their prop.  Gregory and NBC knowingly broke the laws of that jurisdiction.

The same thing happened exactly 4 years ago.  Granted, there is some extra paranoia now for the upcoming restrictions that will be passed, but manufacturers are still delivering.    I saw saw something today on the news that Brownell's alone sold 3.5 years worth of PMAG inventory in 3 DAYS. If one doesn't have what they want by now......they really haven't been paying attention.  Thus the full retard buying frenzy.
  10.   Just keep checking the Commercial Appeal or Tennessean for Memphis and Nashville scheduling.
  11. Here's a news flash:  Cities in TN do this all the time as do many other places in the county.   I'm still waiting for someone to carry through with "I'm gonna stand across the street and buy everyting" that's been thrown about here every time one of these feel-good events happens.
  12. I'd love to see what a Mosin does to a rabbit.    Regardless, if you want a high-powered rifle you can have one with a ton of ammo for $200.   There are several very nice .22's available in your price range. Savage, Remington and Marlin all make rifles that fit the bill.  Ruger 10/22's can be had right around that price on sale.  Go by Academy, WalMart and Dick's, see what's on sale.

  14.   Considering Magpul just relased a line of pink MOE furniture I have pondered "What if that is all we can get?"  :yuck:
  15. This is the usually the only 3 day show of the year.  All others are 2 day.   http://rkshows.com/south/tennessee.htm
  16. Latest reports indicate he used a Bushmaster....   http://www.cnn.com/2012/12/25/us/new-york-firefighter-shooting/index.html?hpt=hp_c1
  17. And people are worried that gun control is going to come from the government.
  18.   Don't forget, people do actually buy bullets along with those first .22's many boys (and now girls) get under the tree.
  19.   Yep, and their ranks are growing exponentially.
  20. He's a dingleberry.
  21. Wadcutters are usually very tame.
  22.    The air can get a little thick in there.
  23. As much as I enjoy a good spectacle the Jacobs building is no place for it.  It's way too confining for all the people that are likely to show up.
