I really hate to say this but it's about time WM put up some limits. Walker Springs put up the sign this week. I personally don't think it's going to make a difference at these two stores but every little bit helps. Ammo at these two locations seem to go before it even hits the floors or people know exactly when to be there.

If I bring ammo to a range the brass is mine. That is if I can find it and some d.s. doesn't sweep it away or pick it up. If I buy new ammo at the range, same rule applies. If I bought reloads at the range, which I don't do anymore, they can have it.

Excellent. I'll go buy a box of Fruit Loops in the morning.

Mike, I'd jump on that .40 but I'm silly with the stuff right now. Keep finding it squirreled away. BTW, Walker Spring WM has the six limit sign posted (think has been mentioned). Not gonna do any good when they only get one or two cases of ammo at a time. They still have 5 or 6 boxes of UMC .223 (100 count) that have been there for about a week. Very strange that.

Since we don't have real winters anymore I may just go up there to find out what snow looks like. For a week or two.

I don't know about that, but if they start slaughtering pigs here like the Muslims did in Egypt you're gonna see a one-man uprising! I gotta have BBQ on a regular basis!

Remington was making their little .41 rimfire derringer at the time. Very popular.

That's what works for me. Along with some more monkeying around. Lots of light seems to help. I don't disassemble that thing 'cept every couple of years or so and that's only when I know alot of crud has built up. You could probably go a life time and not take a Ruger apart and it will run just fine.

And.....People are buying ammo for guns they don't even own! Unfortunately it's become an addiction. It's Crack, Man!

If I can clean it from the breech I will, but will still drag the brush back through the business end to get the whole assembly out. In other words that brush goes in both directions, regardless of front or rear entry. The fact is brass cleaning rods and bronze, or whatever, brushes are softer than steel and the rifling inside. You'd really have to be something special do damage anything but I still take great care when doing so. Then again I'm not a high-power multi-thousands of $ competitor type of guy. If I do compete, it's a CMP match and using what I prefer to shoot: old-ass military rifles that have seen their share of GI's cramming steel cleaning rods down the muzzle. The whole point is preventing damage to the muzzle where the bullet comes out. If coming in from the muzzle my left index finger and thumb make a great muzzle guide. Free too!
