1. It was sad too the department manger was trying to make sure each person got a box. I only wanted one and my buddy with me that only owns a Marlin 22 and doesn't shoot except when I take him (got scared 25 years ago by a miss fire but I'm working on him got him to fire my Mosin last week) only wanted one and didn't understand the problem with ammo shortage till this morning. He got more pissed then I did at them lol. Just not as vocal as I get. Heck one guy had a fold up chair sitting there on a laptop checking stock at places and prices on gunbroker. The woman with them was bragging on buying at more than one place all week. Since I lost out there in drove to athens to Dunham's which is closer to home since they had 22 yesterday afternoon but wouldn't sell it to the wife till this morning. There was twenty people at the doors and i could spot the resellers, they stand out now in the crowd. The doors open and people ran like it was walmart black Friday lol. I walked casually in and when I got back there they was grabbing at 50 round boxes like it was MRE's in Africa . I said screw that and grabbed some surplus 7.62/54 off the shelf.
 2.
In line at walmart lenoir city wishing my phone had silent picture taking, two resellers in line bragging on ripping people off. Shoulda took them, there's no reasonable expectation of privacy in public. It would probably freak them out too. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
Oh they knew I was on to them, they had 20 bricks of 22 and the department manager said to be fair only one per person and the resellers started crying wanting a manager and management gave in and the resellers and their friends got all of them. One guy was posting them online right after he bought them from inside the store. I gave him hell over it and kept calling him a cry baby. One of them got a text right after I posted and was eyeballing me lol. One said he was being paid to be there, and another said it was for a pawn shop in LC. They kept saying they been there since 5 which was bullshit since I was there delivering papers at 5:30 and had to hunt someone to ask when to buy.

 4. They wanted $10 for it now and he looked offended when i snickered loudly in response. Sent from my HTCEVOV4G using Tapatalk 2
 5. Look at my county, then think hwy 411 It's in _______ville
 6. They even teach HCP classes and tried to talk my wife into one before she told them she already was signed up for this Saturday somewhere else. I got a good deal on a odd ball pistol (Grendel P12) I've wanted for my collection but I'll probably not step foot in there again.
 7. I know this has been talked about on her before but I haven't seen anything recently. The Tennessee Handgun carry permit badges. Yha that topic again, walked into a gun store that I've never been in today and every single person working there had one on and was also selling them in the case. I almost asked what force he was on till I noticed one of them was the round design, then I seen them in the case. I keep thinking this is a bad idea unless someone here can prove me wrong.
 8. I just started my WW2 collection with a Mosin that is being much loved and shot like they should be. I have the bruise on my arm to prove it lol. List up what you have, I refuse to doll up old classics, my stock has scratches on it that I wish could tell their stories and other then cleaning and protecting it's staying that way.
 9. Well she aced the women's safety course with a 99% on the shooting part that used the new target the same as the new HCP course target. She would have had a 100% but one of the range officers touched her to try and get her to move closer to the target just as she pulled the trigger, but she atleast kept it in the blue on that shot even after being startled. So since her confidence is high right now, I went ahead and signed her up for Saturday's HCP course at the same place. I've done my best to prepare her and she didn't need any help and was praised by the teacher and fellow students for being able to handle her revolver like she's had it for years instead of only weeks. And i even went as far as making sure I had bought enough matched brand and load target ammo to cover both courses so she would be used to it and try to eliminate all variables from different loads. I hope she passes it all then it's off to expensively lol let her practice using the hydroshock 38 +p loads I bought for her to carry. Sent from my HTCEVOV4G using Tapatalk 2
 10. And how do you solve the stupid Tapatalk issue?
 11. I bought a Keltec P32 a couple years ago and it's had lots of feed problems both fail to extract and failing to feed the two times I've took it shooting using the Sellor and Bellot ammo that the store sold me for it. I was running low and got a few boxes of Speer Lawman ammo and was shooting it Sunday, the Sellor ammo fought me every other round but all 75 rounds I shot of the Speer ammo ran flawlessly to the point I can trust it in my pocket.

Looking close the Sellor ammo has a larger rim on it then the Speer ammo, could that be the cause of my problems? Two other shooters with me had the same outcome in testing 15 rounds of each ammo with it, with only one fail to extract on the Speer because he limp wristed it the first shot.

I have around 28-35 rounds of Sellor ammo left but I just don't trust it.
 12. I'm guessing the price has dropped cheap enough for me to justify it now so I'm in for one firmly and a possible second one if somewhere can transfer them in East Tenn without breaking it off in me.
 13. As a instructor how do you deal with thru the same hole shots or blew out the center targets.

I blew out the center on my exam at the shortest and made a X at the farthest. My instructor didn't even give my target more than a glance, but it's been a few years ago.
 14. It's been quite a few years since I did my HCP and the wife is wanting to get her's soon and I have her shooting good staying in the 7 ring at up to 45 feet with the revolver she picked out and am sending her also to the women's class at Frontier Firearms to prepare her even more but I want her prepared as much as possible for the written test. I can not find a copy of the test or a example of it online, what information is recommended for me to go over with her to make sure its second nature for her. All I really remember since its been so long was 99% of it was second nature and common sense to me but I have been in the game far longer and think differently from her. I'd rather her spend the entire class being reminded of the information I already gave her instead of trying to remember what she was just told. They have prep classes but me training one on one over a longer period of time would set in more. Any help is highly thanked.
 15. Whaaaaaaaa, it shows in stock but wouldn't let me order. I have a new AR 22 I can not even shoot cause of the horders.
 16. So what's all the big deal about some cosmoline? All it took on my Mosin is to come home last night from work at midnight and see the storm damage on my house i get to fix tomorrow and get pissed off and grab the Mosin and a toothbrush and a can of Oops and my cleaning kit and some paper towels. Two hours later it's fully clean ready for some oil on the stock. You just got to have a little motivation :p
17. I'd love to see the final rendering but if it falls under $120 count me in
 18. It depends do you want range and public contact or do you want privacy.

A ham setup is good but that's public and do not rely on repeaters in a SHTF it's a high probability they will be down.

A CB is more public but with Single Side Band is a bit more private to the newbies while adding range plus cheaper.

I have both and in a SHTF id be on Ham to talk to others and CB on low power and or "off channel" to stay a little more private.

On the less then legal side some swear on marine radios for range and weather toughness.
19. A S&W feather weight in 38 special.

My wife loves her's I even sprang for the pink Houge grips for her.
 20. I've got a single shot 12 and 20 I just enjoyed the low recoil of the 410 I had. I guess I need a better shotgun that has a recoil system.
 21. Too big for a push mower but thanks for the offer I'm kinda looking for someone that does it all the time that I can call when I'm backed up with projects or not feeling good to cover it so the city doesn't whine.
 22. Got about half acre mow able area in Sweetwater, got too much on my plate over the next couple weeks and would like to hire someone for a couple times to mow and weed eat.
 23. Don't want to spend a lot of cash on it but I used to have a single shot one 15 years ago before it was stolen. Every time I look at the ammo shelf and see my left over box of 410 slugs I get nostalgic.
 24. 12 gauge slugs, OO buck
20 gauge slugs
About 300 boxes of 7.62 X 39
5 boxes of 223
 25. Unless you want air soft stuff don't even bother going there. I just hope the new Walmart going in actually carry stuff, it's not going to be a full store from what I hear.
